1. [The safe harbor that Shu was referring to is a cave some distance away from the battle zone. There's ample space for everyone to store their machines, and necessities such as food and water are all available.

As you're getting accustomed to the layout however, a particular bird/familiar approaches you.]

So since Master isn't really himself right now, I owe you guys some explanations!

The most likely reason you've been brought to La Gias is a large-scale summoning spell. I've got no clue who the caster is, or why they did it, though.

If you've got any other questions, I can try to answer them.

...By the way, I noticed some of you recognize Master from before. Just letting you know that reminding him of the past all at once right now would be a baaad idea. That goes especially for some of you.

2. [It's not long afterwards that Shu can be found next to a VERY familiar looking device in one section of the cave. Those of you who have been with the Unity Group before would recognize this as a TSEN Device, but Shu looks confounded by its presence there...]

[The combatants from the mission have returned! But since then, you might have gotten a glimpse of one of the new people who returned with them, or for something more obvious: that mecha in the hangar. Chika's advice about those memories of his has also spread one way or another, but it's not like you'd run into him a lot anyway.

Said person is regularly found in the records' rooms of the bases (or something equivalent like a library); suspiciously going through a small number of both written and digital documents. They're not top secret stuff, so he's not breaking any rules, but still...]

Okay, better say these upfront before the inevitable anarchy that will follow every castaway band. First, I'm not interested in the conch of leadership, so feel free to cast me out from the leadership choice of our group. Second, I already prepared some straws, we can pick who will be eaten first already after we inevitably outnumber the food.

We're a bunch of castaway in a lost world! Anarchy always follows! People will be killing each others for for the leadership position soon! Some will try to lead with democracy, some will try to lead with charisma, some with power, and they will clash!

I just don't want to be caught in the middle of it!

Raquel is there now in her form fitting flight suit which likely was studded with sensors somehow to make her mech move as she did. On one hand she seemed excited about certain events. On other events she was seemingly concerned about thing.

She looks up at the bird for a long moment taking a long look at him.

"So don't bring up the DC to him or anything relate to that? I see. Also just what are you, I just ran into an elf woman with a bust that breaks the laws of physics as I know them, a man who can basically make me look like some fall guy and punch out a mountain. Then there is Shu "I am back from the dead." Shirakawa."

She shifts her weight about a little bit and looks once more at the bird.

"So also is there some clothes I can change into, I'm not sure I want to be stuck in my flight suit for so long."

That's about right. Master needs time to remember on his own - if those memories get forced onto him, it's him who'll be in danger, not you guys. Mental shock is a thing.

[It's probably a bit weird to see a bird on the floor talking to someone, and it's even weirder to see said bird pointing down an adjacent hallway with one of its wings.]

As for clothes, you might find some that-a-way. It's mostly Lady Saphi- I mean, stuff that someone we know uses, butshedoesn'tusethemnowanyway, so it might be a bit uncomfortable to wear.

Also, I'm a familiar. To keep it short, we're magic beings tied to our masters, or mistresses. I guess minion is also another term you could use. I don't get paid though.

Raquel is accepting strange things after seeing Neige's bust size and the fact she could walk. The bird does not seem that strange all things considered.

I've been hearing mention that it's not that you didn't die, but rather someone (clearly out of their mind) somehow resurrected you.

Anything you can share about that or is that another spotty part in your memories?

You've heard the truth. I was resurrected by a man named Luozorl, along with the Granzon.

[Confirmation get. Pretty easily, actually.]

However, the resurrection was not perfect, or so I was told. This is why there are gaps in my memory at the moment. Likewise, the Granzon is not fully functional.

I'll.. have to take your word on that then. Even Elma's pool of knowledge doesn't extend to all of this hocus pocus stuff.

[Ken doesn't really know much about the man to begin with, but is nevertheless made curious by his presence, given that, well, he wasn't among the lot who'd disappeared.

So, after being back from out at the site where the disappearance had occurred, clearly not worried or anything, and as he departs from the Genoace he'd used, Ken is left staring up at the odd, bulky blue mecha...

And begins to climb it.]

[Not that it's going to react much without a pilot.

However, there is something there that responds to Ken's climbing. A small bluebird that now rests on the very top of the Granzon's head crest - wings folded over its body like a cape (thanks Heph).]
