[As deaths, messed-up terrorists, close calls and incredibly embarrassing pilot suits piled up over the last few weeks Kei have been visibly appearing more and more stressed when not needed to seem strong to comfort those more personally affected. At a quiet moment somewhere without a huge crowd, she let out a comment on it after a long, awkward pause.]

This is what it means to be a soldier, isn't it? At least when a major war is going on.

I guess being told about what to expect isn't the same as actually being out in it.

Yeah, probably. And I don't think anybody would have been prepared for the kind of things we've seen these last few weeks.

[There was one of the pauses she seemed to do often.] Are you feeling better?

Of course, I wouldn't be up and about if I wasn't. I do have a big concert to prepare for after all.

There's still a bit of pain I'll admit. I'm definitely feeling a lot better though.

Lots of missions lately haven't been going too well and I seem to have been on most of them...I haven't really had to deal with people dying before or the kind of insane desire to just plain kill people of those terrorists.
