[After successfully getting everyone dragged back to Earth for some much needed maintenance, Kei could be found quite visibly angry at something. Probably Shu, going by the looks she's sending him.]

[A while later after everything's settled down and everyone has had a chance to rest and recover from the operation, Kei has decided to make use of the teleporter at Shu's base to go back to La Gias to have a look at the place.]

I do not mean dragging him here in person. I mean asking him to provide us with a specialist. Even though the R&D division has recently obtained a new item, I doubt all of them are busy working on it.

I guess. I imagine that they'd be more likely to be engineers than biologists, but there might be some.

I am sure there are some. After all, someone has to research the various monsters Earthlings have to fight all the time.

True. Hopefully they will have time to investigate this place.

Hopefully. Unfortunately, war often gets in the way of other endeavours.

It does...At least I think so, I don't really have much to compare it with.

Unfortunately, yes. Which is why I am set to change this. You, and the rest of your generation, will be able to pick whatever future you want, without being forced to fight for survival.

This is what I want to accomplish.

Thanks...Even if having to fight like this for the sake of humanity is a pretty new thing. Most generations have been able to work for what future they wanted.

No war lasts forever. It will eventually be replaced by another one, too... But I promise that you will see peace.
