[Despite joining up with the Unity Group, the two members of Zwei Wing have been rather absent from combat for the last few weeks. For the older Kanade the reason behind this was not exactly something that she wanted to get out. She had an image to uphold after all. Even if she trusted the Unity Group she still wanted to be careful with it.
Of course, hiding it really wasn't an option once her withdrawal symptoms started to kick in. The Idol leans against one of the walls of Sakihama Base and begins to coughs into her hand. A surprising amount of blood came out of her. For some reason Kanade doesn't seem that surprised about it. She just looks at the blood in her hand like it was nothing.]
Not quite as bad this time...

[Some time later she's finally provided with a new supply of LiNKER and she's taking her dosage in some secluded corner of one of the bases. She seems oddly calm, even as she stabs the syringe into her neck and pumps the drug into her system.]
That should do it.
[Kanade looks a lot more relaxed now.]

[In Sakihama City Kanade can be found wandering around in a brilliant disguise (large sunglasses and a sunhat) doing some grocery shopping. Somehow you've been dragged along to come with her and she's going through shops at a breakneck speed. For someone who was in pretty bad shape a few hours ago she's pretty energetic.]

[Kei did as Kanade suggested and starting heading towards the kitchen, rummaging through the groceries to get the things she needed to start baking.]
And, right, excuse me if I add to the mess trying to find a bowl and such.

[On her own end she manages to wrangle up the most embarrassing parts of the mess and toss it into the laundry. Once she's done with that she returns to the kitchen to start helping Kei out by moving the other groceries.]
I think you're pretty close to matching our number of commitments though Kei. Soldier, Battlefield Commander, Majestic Prince, I even heard that you were doing some idol-like work a while back.

[Kei searched through the cupboards, finding the tools she needed and began mixing ingredients. That really looked like an awful lot of sugar.]
I'm not sure. The role as battlefield commander is the way I work as a soldier and the whole Majestic Prince thing is just something the media made up after Nora Colony...And please don't remind me of that morale boosting exercise.

[Kanade hasn't noticed amount of sugar being added yet. She's busy chopping up vegetables for some kind of stew.]
It doesn't sound like you particularly enjoyed having to do that.

[Kanade sounds half serious about that.]
Joking aside, it's just something you get used to. For me I'm just happy to be able to meet the people that I've been able help. If I'm able to brighten up their day just a bit by being there that's enough for me to get by on.
I'm sure the people you met with really appreciated it.

Although, I guess I'm pretty lucky since if it gets awkward enough I can always sing a song.
[Kanade seems to be up to something.]
Hmmm how's your singing voice?
[She has a grin on her face that just screams that she's up to no good.]
