[Yuuya stands beside his unit leaning against the rail and looking up at it with a different expression.]

"Well then 94 Second, it looks like we both got jerked around by two countries but we can show them we've got more to prove than they ever expected of us. I think I finally got to grasp what it'll take to pilot you successfully."

[The Argos flight is leaving a debriefing from the last mission. Tarisa is still spitting fire and VG is placating her in his own style. Yuuya seems more pensive than normal but in a good mood however Stella seems to be just off of normal, almost like she was in part forcing herself.]

[In a more isolated runway on Alhambra you might catch a Yellow unit made infamous from the training exercise and a pilot in a similarly colored TSF piloting suit. She is looking out at the setting sun and a pocket watch she is holding in her hand. She appears to be thinking about something and will not immediately notice your approach.]

Leos is a good kid and a lot of people are looking out for him. I don't think you need to worry too much about what happens to him, the help he needs is here and people are going to make sure he gets it.

I hope so. He was already troubled even before that...some of the UG's members are surprised that he was allowed to deploy...

[She stops for a bit to take a deep breath.]

Not in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the BETA to be like that...

There is a reason that most TSF pilots are given at least a moderate degree of hypnotic conditioning in their training. The BETA are disturbingly alien and yet at the same time oddly human-esque in some ways.

The tank class that attacked you are the ones responsible for the most pilot kills anyways. Pilots get too worried about the large units and then their overrun by Tank class, ripped apart, and eaten.

There was one session where they showed it to us and that washed out more pilots than any other day in training.

[Seta does not like these implications, at all. Especially when regular humans can't do what she did. There really was no room for mistakes...moreover...]

Somehow, I have a feeling that devouring them was not the best retaliatory action...

Although, I was not thinking rationally at the time.

It was a very different occurrence but I think that in the long run it's a sort of poetic justice by a grand reversal of the the normal food chain. I know it was traumatic for the others but part of the mental conditioning we undergo helps take the edge off and the way that it is incorporated into the TSFs themselves with additional systems for injection of psychoactive drugs helps keep us on even footing throughout an engagement.

Rational thinking or not though you still helped immensely in the battle.

Thank you...and for keeping my secret as well. Even if that did not last long...

Although, it would have helped...if they had tasted even slightly less terrible.

[Because poetic justice or not, it's going to take days to wash that out...]

Maybe I'll get on that with the development teams for TSFs. Figure if there's someway to flavor them to be more palatable for you?

[The quirk of his mouth and eyes say that he's joking.]

As for keeping your secret I did as I said I would but I also want to be sure that you're alright, I know you had a rather focused fear of being found out and I just wanted to make sure nobody was being too judgmental of you after what happened.
