[Yuuya stands beside his unit leaning against the rail and looking up at it with a different expression.]
"Well then 94 Second, it looks like we both got jerked around by two countries but we can show them we've got more to prove than they ever expected of us. I think I finally got to grasp what it'll take to pilot you successfully."

[The Argos flight is leaving a debriefing from the last mission. Tarisa is still spitting fire and VG is placating her in his own style. Yuuya seems more pensive than normal but in a good mood however Stella seems to be just off of normal, almost like she was in part forcing herself.]

[In a more isolated runway on Alhambra you might catch a Yellow unit made infamous from the training exercise and a pilot in a similarly colored TSF piloting suit. She is looking out at the setting sun and a pocket watch she is holding in her hand. She appears to be thinking about something and will not immediately notice your approach.]

Well Lt. Bridges wasn't quite grasping what was needed there. I figured if I could drive and corner him it may have proven the push he needed but I did not expect it to impact the other pilots so heavily.

You.
[If her colour scheme and the suit nearby hadn't already given her away, Ken would've known her by her sheer presence.]
A bit far away for a member of the Imperial Guard, no?

[Ken asks, a clear irritance... that then gives way to begrudging respect.]
You handled yourself fairly well.

That was one hell of a push though. I checked out the combat footage, I have to admit, I haven't seen someone as skilled as you in years.
[There's some actual respect being shown here, Willis isn't even oggling Yui...yet.]

[Oh hey, it's Lt. Ootori. The other japanese noble lady.]

...Was this the issue troubling you at the workout room?
[Seta is looking up at the TSF as well. She's still out of it from her experience, but somewhat better now that she has at least told everyone the truth.]

[Setsuko's intention is not to sneak on people. In fact, she will introduce herself right away.]
I... I am 2nd Lieutenant Setsuko Ohara, from the Glory Stars team. I would like to ask a question.
Why?

You know, now that I'm actually seeing one in-person, those outfits really don't look that bad.

The emergence of the Beta shortly thereafter did not help either. Ken nearly died and if I hadn't thrown the combat into chaos that might not have happened.

It's part of it, and after seeing what else happened out there then maybe there's something to be done about the other part of it as well.
[He turns back to look at Seta.]
How about you, are you alright? I guess that explains how you were able to help so easily in the gym room.
[The smile on Yuuya's face is small but genuine as is the slight tinge of worry for the (younger?) pilot.]

You flew pretty well out there today though Asagi. Most pilots don't do so well even with specific anti-BETA training.
From:

Because the XFJ project needed it. If the pilot is found wanting than the entire project will fail.

Excuse me?! Just what are you happening to imply?

[So speaks the... well, you get the gist.]
I'm surprised you're hanging around though. I know not everyone's thrilled with how things played out during the "mock battle"... though I hope nobody's been stupid enough to the cloak and dagger stunt.

I don't think anyone would nearly be as mad if that battle had ended when you were done.
Ken was in a Genoace and if I read the report correctly, his machine was only severely damaged after you left to reinforce another front. I understand you have a high sense of honour but, you really aren't to blame for what happened in the latter half of that. Maybe some raised emotions but that's about it.
As for what you did do, anyone trying to do what you did would have done the same thing.

However, it may take some time for Leos to overcome what he saw.
From:

...Wait a sec. You actually got something out of her attacking you?
From:

[Ken is starting to wonder if this philosophy is just somehow a thing in giant robot circles, given his parents, Leos' supervisor, and now this woman...
In any case, he throws up his hands.]
Though if that's what works for royal guards these days, I suppose there's nothing I can say to that. I mean, look at me, I'm wearing scrap as weights. You at least get state of the art equipment. Suppose its fitting.
From:

Maybe or maybe not. I think that there are others who could have worked through the development even with a pilot as difficult as Lt. Bridges without having to antagonized him so badly that they were forced to corner him in a more powerful machine to make him finally grasp how to pilot his unit.

Perhaps it was inevitable what happened between you and Lt. Bridges.
