[So, after all that, Albert is finally out for the count. Ashe fainted, though, from sheer exhaustion - after all, everyone else fought on a robot, But Ashe went though six separate boss battles on foot in straight succession, and spent all of Model A's and her own energy reserves.

And so, you can find her at the infirmary, where she's been for a while now, with a certain floating trapezoid standing guard right over her bed. She stirs]

Gah!

[And starts awake with a jump. She seems confused for a moment, then smiles]

...whew. So we did get out before it exploded, didn't we. I was a bit worried for a minute there. And Albert is finally gone... wait. What are you doing up there, Model A?
What, can't I stand watch over my sick friend now?
Heeeeh. [Ashe grins]
What?
That's the first time you've actually called me your friend, you know.
Ah! Really? Well, I can stop if you want. [Model A sounds embarrassed now]
Who said that? Don't worry about it, dummy.

[And that's when she notices you.]

Oh hey there! How are you doing?

[And so, a bit later, Ashe is out of the infirmary, standing on a roof, looking up and grinning. Well, that's one adventure over. All that's left is to get around to contacting the Sages - the two that remain, at least - and get paid, and then... well, who knows!

If you want to talk to Ashe, this is probably the best time - she seems to be in a wonderful mood.]

"Of course I did!" is probably what I should say here, but honestly, this one was a team effort.

A lot of them are. We work best as a team after all!

... I heard about Albert. Some revelation, huh...

...yeah. Honestly, not exactly the way I wanted my search to find out where I came from to end.
Ashe...
But you know what? I think that taught me something I probably needed, too.

What do you mean?

That it doesn't really matter where I came from. It's all about what we do. Albert may think of me as one of his "creations", but why should I care? We punted Albert off his high horse, together!

[herodrawing]

Yeah. Yeah, that's right! That's one of a hero's lessons, you're your own person.

And there's no harm in knowing. I still don't know who my parents were, but I want to know one day.

[booty_chaser]

I dunno. I think I'd have been happier not knowing that I'm named after that jerk, personally.
Don't worry, Model A, we're going to make enough of a name for ourselves that nobody even remembers Albert in comparison to you! Deal?
...deal! Let's do that!
And I bet you could get someone to tell you if you get insistent enough, Izuru. Or I could try to get them for you! I never really tried an infiltration mission, it could be fun!

[herodrawing]

It's okay. I've been causing a lot of trouble so let's wait a while before Instr... Captain Suzukaze gets really mad. And I can wait.

And I wonder now what Model A just said, too...

It hit the little guy a bit harder than it did me, for a couple reasons.
...you can tell him, I guess.
Thank you, Model A. Well, Izuru, basically... the A in Model A was originally supposed to be for "Model Albert". This little guy was apparently supposed to be designed after that jerk, with his biodata.

If you or anyone else ever actually call him that I'm going to clock you, though. Just so you know.
