The Mystery Monster of Hong Kong Bay

[So the Kaiju are gone for now, and despite the damage dealt to the city and Crimson Typhoon, Unity Group and the Jaegers were victorious.

It's rather odd, then, that people working at the docks continue to speak of a large creature lurking in the waters after the event. A monster...that flees at the sight of people.

If you stay around for a bit, you might catch a glimpse of it. In fact, as a UG member it seems to surface more often, though the most you might see is what looks like a giant snake's tongue popping up like a periscope, and the shadow of something waiting under the water.

And then...]

Ah...pardon me...would you happen to know of any place here that has some spare food...?

[How it's speaking is a mystery, but that voice sure sounds like Seta...]

Sasha and Alexis are strolling along the docks, clad in their match pimp coats and jewelry.

They notice your giant Loch Ness tongue sticking out of the water, and stare at you for a long time.

"What food do you like?" Alexis asks at last.

[If the tongue could stare back, it would. It does try to do its best to compensate for that, though, because Seta doesn't know what to say either.

Fortunately, Alexis' question breaks the awkwardness.]

I will be fine with anything that is not a monster...

...Please.

Sasha and Alexis glance at each other.

"We know a guy." Alexis said at last. "Hmmm...that associate of Chau...do you mind waiting twenty minutes?"

[caressthedarkness]

[The tongue's tip moves left and right, like a head being shaken.]

No...not at all.

Alexis pulls out a phone, walks away, and starts mumbling into it. "No need for thanks. " Sasha says. "Owe us a favor, pay it off latter, Da?"

Twenty minutes later, a freezer truck pulls up to the docks. Sasha and Alexis exchange hearty hugs with the bus driver, and then he throws open the back of the truck.

Inside is a whole bunch of cattle meat: a few carcasses hanging from meat hooks, but also some detritus from the slaughterhouse process: intestines, marrow-rich bones, muscle-scraps, and buckets of blood.

Alexis leans over the pier's side. "Should we just dump it in?"

[Seta doesn't really enjoy the prospect of owing so many people, but it's better than being hungry.

A giant snake's mouth opens up by the dock, ready to accept the food. Considering the situation with Kaiju, this might be a bit awkward.]
