[At some point during the day, Commander Antov's console is going to get a comm call with a message soliciting a few minutes of his time. The interesting thing is that the message has a Graveyard identifier, but Kagura, being unable to speak at the moment, would certainly not make a call, since the most she could do in such a thing is glower at the person on the other monitor.

Who could it be?]

[And in the meantime, Kagura is entirely unaware of the conspiracies going on. Mostly because, after having discovered that the Major was in fact not a terrifying killer robot but one of them, a couple of the Mistletoes belonging to her squad seem to have taken it upon themselves to cheer her up.

This is working about as well as you'd expect.

When you run into them, the weak fairy is being pulled by the two healthier, bigger fairies, who are chattering excitedly about how fun riding the washing machines is and how she should totally try it. If looks could kill, the look on the smaller fairy's face as she fruitlessly struggles to get free, unable to voce her disagreement, could be counted as a serial murder weapon.

Assist, look on and enjoy the shenanigans, laugh?]

Ah, Major Kagura!

[Izuru notices the group of mistletoes. It's adorable, but he can see Kagura is not having fun.]

Don't worry, I'll save you! Please leave her alone, tiny fairies!

[Oh boy. Because she wasn't mortified enough already, it had to be Izuru of all people who came to her rescue. Some days in Kagura's life are enough to entertain the idea of jumping into a wood chipper.

The fairies don't seem willing to give up her prey, though.]

"What? Why?"

"Wait, isn't this the guy who annoys her all the time?"

I'm annoying her? No, you see...

Umm. Major Kagura is tired right now, so maybe you should ask her later, when she's not tired.

[Which is never because what tires her out is life itself.]

[The two fairies look completely unconvinced]

"I don't think she's tired"

"She's just angry. But she's always kind of angry, I think"

"That's why we're trying to cheer her up, silly!"

[Kagura visibly does a gag at this]

Geh...

[The plan backfired. While Izuru ponders his next move, he is suddenly struck with a realization.]

Wait!

Is this how I'm all the time for you Major Kagura?!

"Hmm?" Antov notices the transmission. He coughs and clicks the connection on.

"Yes, this is Commander-in-Chief Roland Antov speaking."

[On the screen appears a rather young, redheaded woman, wearing the sombre and somewhat sinister ensemble of Graveyard higher ups. Which might be intimidating were it not for the fact that the woman herself is rather visibly trying to project an aura of seriousness and professionalism but in reality barely keeping herself from fidgeting]

Ah... good morning, Commander. I, um, hope I didn't intrude?

I'm Colonel Suzu of Graveyard. I wanted to speak with you about something a bit, um, private. It's about the Major.

[Of course, the fact remains of how and why does Colonel Suzu have the number to call the Commander-in-Chief of Unity's console directly, but she looks about as sinister as a parsnip]

"Hello, Colonel. No, it's alright. I wasn't busy with anything."

Antov tries not to give spotlight to the pile of documents on his desk.

"Major, you mean Major Kagura. It's private so it's, umm, not official Graveyard business, I take it?"

[Suzu nods, still fidgeting]

Yes. Well, sort of. I, um, wanted to ask you a question first, Commander. Um, if that's alright?

What... do you think of the Major? Has she been useful to the Unity Group? Would you want her back in fighting shape?

[The two fairies look at Seta, visibly affronted]

"We're not bullying her, we're helping!"

"We're teaching her how to have fun! She wants to enjoy herself - everyone does! She just doesn't know how!"

[Kagura's tiny hands are making tiny strangling motions towards one of the fairies' necks as this is going on]

That is strange...

She does not look like she wants to...

"That's because she hasn't tried it yet! When she does she'll love it!"

"Yeah!"

[Well isn't this a sight, especially coming on the heels of her own frustrating misadventures.]

You know, she's not going to enjoy whatever you want to do, not if you force her!

"But everyone enjoys things they say they don't wanna do, very often!"

"Well, humans at least! We Mistletoes don't do all that, normally... but she's a bit weird, so we're trying to see if what works with you guys works with her too!"

[...that was remarkably correct about human nature, for a pair of derps like these two.

Still, Kagura is trying to show that in her case it's most definitely not denial by futilely trying to headbutt one of the other fairies]

[The two fairies beam widely. Kagura just settles down with a look so bitter it makes lemons look sweet]

"We're gonna ride the washing machine!"

"Yeah! It's super fun!"

"And we can do all sorts of stuff!"

"I've been learning to draw flowers!"

"Yeah! If you remmeber to not put on the centrifuge thingy it's great"

"Yeah, the centrifuge is a bit too fast for me..."

[Disbelief intensifies]

Go ride your health hazard roundabout all you want, then. But I don't think Major Kagura wants to go with you. Just look at her.

"Yeah, it looks scary, so it's pretty normal she doesn't want to - but it's actually super fun!"

[Kagura's eyes narrow. Given her current already extremely irritated and not at all reasonable state of mind, the blonde Mistletoe that just spoke is probably going to regret that implication at some point]

Fun fact: with easily purchased supplies of potassium nitrate and sugar, plus a stove and pan to heat things, you can make your own set of smoke bombs!

Three tiny balls land beneath the flying fairies and start belching white smoke!

"Major!" A voice shouts. "Break north for extraction!"

"Ambush- ugh!"

[Kagura reacts far faster while the other two fairies are distracted. She's small and weak, but when presented with an adversary that can't see or think, even someone small and weak can have an effect. In this case, Kagura shoves her elbow into one of the other fairies' stomach with all her (pathetic) strength and (impressive) knowledge of anatomy, and flies for it northwards while the other two are wondering what the hell just happened]

Dido meets you around the corner, clad in a hoodie and a set of goggles.

"Quickly!" She hisses, opening a red metal box with a bagged sandwich and apple! "Hide in my lunchbox!"

[The small fairy looks at the box, very much with a face that says "...really?". Then taps her head and points at the smoke back before pointing back at herself. Mistletoes can feel emotions, dur. You can't hide from them in a box.]
