Great Emperor Invicta

(This occurs during the Screaming Souls mission)

Suddenly, Earth has been transported to a weird alien dimension - the Kijin world. A gigantic multi-armed creature has manifested in Earth orbit. The Kijin Emperor Invicta is here, unleashing his armies upon the world. The time of humanity has passed and it is time for the Kijin to take what is theirs.

Except that humanity will not take it standing.

Comm lines are in chaos, the TSEN is malfunctioning - but whatever forces could arrive in time have thrown themselves at the giant emperor and his minions. UN Spacy's ships and VFs, various mobile suits in differing stages of being outdated, as well as more familiar faces.


"Let's go guys! Time to show our juniors what's up!"

"Why are you so eager to die, Randy?"

"Ah... Tamaki..."

Team Dobermans are there, giving their all. So is a certain mobile suit ace in his custom white unit. So is the Chimera's representative and the Chaos Leo. And on the sides of the battlefield, trying not to draw attention but fighting just as hard as everyone else, one may spot a group of customized Gespenst Sterbens and a squad of TSFs marked with a certain emblem.


And the most unbelievable thing - is that despite the enemy's huge size and superiority in numbers, the Kijin are getting pushed away. Even the Emperor is getting wounded, small explosions forming on his giant form.

Now is the time to aid fellow humans in their struggle for survival! Members of Unity Group, give your all!

(This is a combat log, and following enemies are there to be fought:

Majesty - centaur-like kijin clad in black armor, wielding lances or swords and large tower shields. They are tough and fast.

Shadow - black catlike kijin with glowing red eyes and four spiked tails. Very agile and hard to hit. Can also teleport.

Luminous - flying kijin with dragon heads, bodies of a centipede and four mantis arms. They can breathe fire and shoot out energy waves from their arms, also explode if killed.

Haze - larger than the rest, they look like tattered cloaks with the person underneath missing. They can teleport, fire off energy blasts, and drain energy at a close range. These are the most rare but also significantly more powerful than the rest.

All kijin are M sized except Haze which are L.)

They're called... ah, nevermind that for now!

[Calm down, Setsuko. In fact, the Kijin struggling against ShelLancer means it's more or less still - a perfect target for flanking.]

Deep breaths...

There!

[From the side, Setsuko fires a physical round at the creature's head! It causes the Majesty to roar in pain, including its shield actually opening up - revealing a toothy mouth! Which too gets shot next.]

Dido follows up Setsuko's volley of rounds by shoving her Lance into the toothy mouth, Private Hudson style.

"Lance Shock!" The Majesty, despite being pretty much dead, convulses in place before it collapses.

Dido gasps for breath. "Fudge-skittles...there's no end to them!"

But if we end here! Then humanity is done for!

[Setsuko tries to catch her breath as well. Her eyes already scan the area for more enemies. Will this ever end?]

[It seems that Dido and Setsuko may get a little more time to do so as weaponsfire hammers into a Majesty. A group of ACs seem to be providing some assistance. The lead machine, a seemingly more well armed unit than its fellows was flanked by a pair of more unique looking units. Interestingly enough they all bore the same emblem on their machines.]

... Ravens? No, they are different.

But who?

[Setsuko ponders loudly. Still, no time to focus on allies' identity during combat. Any relief is welcome!]

"The heck?" Dido blurts out. "I'm not one to complain...but who are these guys?"

She zooms in with her unit's cameras, taking a gander at the lead unit. Does it have any distinctive features? Say, a scarf made out of parachute fabric?

[From what you can tell Dido, while similar to the the rest of the ACs accompanying it aside from the two at its side it looked a little more robust. Like it was the DODS Rifle to the DODS Gun that its lesser variants were. As for distinctive features... while you don't see a scarf you catch a flash of pair of swords that would be more commonly seen on a TSF than on an AC. In fact aside from the Melee Halberds its weapons overall look like more advanced versions of the Pale Rider's! Could it be..? Text soon flashes across screens.]

[The questioning stare Setsuko gives Dido (over the comms) says it all.

Dido follows the guy's advice, warding the AC's flanks with Arc Thorn barriers.

Dido shrugs in response to Setsuko's stare, but opens a comm channel to the lead Frightener.

"...Leos? If it's you, just say so! Don't be a Drama Queen!"

[With their flanks taken care of the Frighteners move in to melee with the Majesty, the lead three hammering it with enough fire for the others to get around it, draw their own hook-like blades and lashing out with them at the Centaur-Kijin's legs to take them out from under it. The moment it stumbles the heaviest of the three lead ACs lowers its twin cannons and repeatedly bombards it with plasma until there was nothing left. Dido has an open comm, but no visual feed. Her reply wasn't audio either.]

-Thinking words is faster than talking in a fight. And reunions shouldn't happen when they are either.-

[A really wrong place for a reunion, this one. But Setsuko has other things to worry about now - others gave her enough breathing room to deploy the Glory Star.

She stands still, her Carver charging up energy - before unleashing it in a giant beam, sweeping over the enemy ranks.]
