[If you are one of those who attended the ceremony, you are suddenly interrupted. There is a violent tremor, followed by an explosion that shakes the entire building. The guards in the event chamber immediately leave to investigate.
Should you follow them...you'll find a complete mess in the adjacent hall: an enormous hole has been carved through the floor, and parts of the walls and ceiling are on the verge of collapse.
Seta lies unconscious on the ground nearby. And Astara, who is also injured, but still on her feet, is also there.
The guards are immediately moving to surround the Kijin in the red outfit. What will you do?]

[The aftermath of Seta's battle underground is not pretty, even when she finally regains consciousness. Other than the collateral damage, her injuries have not yet healed completely; proof of just how badly her opponent had struck her.
She sits with her back against a wall, staring at the giant hole in the floor, before addressing you.]
Why...would Astara go this far...?
I am sorry...but you should leave. The Unity Group has much to do, and there is something I must make sure of myself...

[As soon as she is well enough to walk (or rather, limp) around, Seta ascends to the Gloster HQ's grand chamber, where Lady Grey and the Foundation's chairman are.
Officially, Seta is here to give her report. But there is something she feels that she has to confirm, even if she does have her doubts. In all her years of knowing Astara, she had never behaved the way she did. Even though Seta didn't believe that the situation was exactly what her friend had said, something extreme must have made her act that way...
And so, she approaches her superiors with a respectful bow.]
Madame, Sir Chairman...please forgive my intrusion.
I am here to give my report on the incident that has just occurred...
[She pauses and lowers her head.]
...However, I have a question to ask you as well...and I apologize if it sounds as if I am stepping out of line...

"I suppose I should introduce myself properly now that we can end this charade. In truth, I am the Great Kijin Emperor Invicta. I've been in control of this body for quite some time now...now when was it. Ah yes...it was shortly after Shahyrar passed away."
Lady Grey or rather Fortuna as Invicta called her, remains quiet as the revelations are made. If anything, she looks rather bored. Like someone who was waiting for an elevator to finish moving.

We've become nothing more than glorified babysitters, that have to watch over a race that cares more about killing each other. The Kijin Emperor manages to calm down the bitter woman.
"Seta, she is not the only one. Many within the Foundation have come to this realization and as your Emperor I only want the best for my people. You are the daughter of Shahyrar, you've inherited his ability to use the souls of the strongest of our race - one that even I'm not able to replicate - but you don't have to inherit his foolishness. If you were to stand by my side we'd be able to control this world and our homeworld. Make the right decision..."

[Suddenly, Seta's mind races back to what she told Astara earlier. All these revelations hurt. If only she had just trusted her friend...then it wouldn't have come to this...
But no...it wasn't too late...
Everything she had, she had also learned to put on the line.]

...This...goes against everything I believe in. The very code of the Foundation that I have known all my life.
[She releases the same burst of darkened energy around her as in the battle against Astara, only it is much weaker due to her injuries.]
I am alone...but even if it is you...and Madame...I cannot let you proceed...!
[The young Kijin charges forward with one of the Kazan blades drawn! She's going straight for Invicta, aiming to split him in two!]

"That was the wrong choice."
Lady Grey immediately blocks Seta's path and raises her hand to block the blade. A large magical seal composed of some sort of dark energy stops the blade completely in it's tracks. The emblem begins to turn and within seconds Kazan is ground into dust. Before Seta could react any further dozens of spears composed of the same energy surround the younger Kijin and impale her. Even worse, something seems to flow into Seta from those spears. A second later the only thing Seta would be feeling was a severely crippling pain as the spear's venom coursed through her veins. The same venom that she used against Astara.
"So you choose to follow his path, no matter no matter. Despite both of your efforts, today's celebration was not in vain. Astara thought that goading you into a fight to destroy the Gate beneath us would stop all of this. You should know that both of you cannot do anything about this, we were not only celebrating your coming of age but also my return to the Kijin Realm."
The Earth itself began to rumble and a bright light started to flow from the destroyed gate beneath the Foundation. Something was happening and whatever it was nothing could be done...

[Yeah, Seta can't even react to that. She's left wondering when exactly those spears impaled her, and where they came from. Of course, she knew her teacher was capable of this from their training sessions...but she had never done so with this speed and precision...
With the venom seeping into her, and now looking much like a human pincushion, the young Kijin drops to her knees. But even then, she raises her hand towards her teacher and the Emperor in defiance.]
St...op...!
[After a while, she doesn't realize what is going on around her anymore...the bright light slowly consumes even the grand chamber...and for Seta, there is silence...]
