[Another video intro is coming in. It shows a teenage girl trying to seem cool and professional, with trying being the operating phrase, giving the impression of someone neither used to, nor comfortable with cameras.]

Hi. I'm Kei Kugimiya, a student of the MJP project and member of Team Rabbits. I've been assigned to support the Unity Group and has been assigned to the Star Rose.

[There is a pause as she apparently runs out of things to say, but clearly realizes that she was too brief, creating a rather awkward silence.]

Our team has already taken action in support of the group, during the recent battle of the Nora colony and I hope future operations will be as successful...I'm the pilot of the purple ASHMB and will serve as local mission control in future operations as well. I look forward to working together with you all.

[The camera holds for a bit as she gives a slightly weak smile, before turning it off.]

[Shortly after introductions, Kei can be found moving the shopping areas on the Star Rose and near Sakihama. While her expression is a bit hard to read, it appears that she's looking over the shops for something specific that she hasn't found yet. She already carries a number of shopping bags.]

[Someone else whom Kei may recognize as having disembarked after the mission is out shopping too - for a somewhat eclectic mix of snacks, essentials, and... toys? The stuffed animals may not be too surprising, but some of the action figures and the like definitely look rather kiddy for the woman toting them. Yet despite having her hands literally full with her odd cargo, she has a satisfied expression.]

Whoa! Nearly bumped in to you there. You lost?

Re: 2

With my sister, yup. Cathy Butler. Oh, you were the mission controller, right? Kugimiya.

Good job out there. Your first deployment?

Re: 2

Well I guess that's what they call a trial by fire. And making a big entrance, they also call it that.

You did! My sister, Liz. She's my co-pilot. She says hi, too. Here.

[Cathy takes off the small pair of glasses she's wearing and hands them to Kei.]

Re: 2

I guess they must have a lot of faith in you.

[The glasses go on easily. When they do, and Kei looks up, a figure much like Cathy's but with long dark hair steps out from behind her, as if she'd been hiding in her sister's shadow all along. Liz gives a small wave. Cathy jams a thumb in her direction, though her aim is a little off.]

The aforementioned Liz.

[The glasses even come with sound - not very good sound, equivalent to cheap earphones, but enough for the newcomer to speak.]

Hello!

[Liz really does. It's a pretty good overlay, though, she looks entirely realistic when viewed through them.]

So you were our choreographer yesterday? You're pretty good! I do the same sort of thing for this musclehead, so I know good work when I see it.

You're shopping, huh? Looking for something in particular?

Yup! I pilot -

- and I handle systems and sensors.

The Rose is a prototype for a design that'll use a simple AI as a co-pilot to handle a bunch of features that'd be too complicated for a single human pilot to handle manually. Boost reaction times and situational awareness, too. Liz is total overkill compared to what the final product needs, but it's an easy way for us to gather the kind of data that's required.

Bookstore, huh? I'm actually headed that way myself. It's next on the list.

[Cathy jiggles the bags she's carrying, turning slightly towards what presumably must be the direction of the bookstore.]

You're a reader? Me too! What do you like? I can recommend you a bunch of stuff, though most of my collection is electronic, in case you prefer the paper kind.

Yeah, your friend Asagi mentioned that he's an... enthusiast.

[A fetishist, is what Cathy means, which may be a little unfair, but ain't no bot got time for that. Kei may notice that Liz tenses slightly, but the fact that Cathy answers lets her reply to the book question without shedding her enthusiasm. The glasses are rendering her as still focused entirely on Kei, just walking backwards with an unerring sense for avoiding obstacles.]

Oh, all kinds! I don't really sleep, so I have lots of free time, and I can read pretty fast too. My favourites are histories, travelogues, things like that. Fiction's fun, but the real world's just so complicated, everywhere you dig a little deeper you turn up something you'd never expect!

And the present! I'm really looking forward to getting to travel the Earth Sphere for UG work. Seeing all the places I've read about... Even the Star Rose has been exciting!

Even without sightseeing, there's the travel and the missions themselves. Heck, Fort Alhambra's got desert! Desert! People don't put many of those on space colonies, let me tell you.

And Sakihama's near the ocean.
