[Well Leos certainly had a rough day. Right now he was being laid up in one of the Unity Group's infirmaries and his AC was... to put it bluntly a complete mess. This of course led to a severe ear bashing from both his operator Lana Nielsen as well as his sponsors. So all in all not a good day.]

[Or maybe not. Apparently someone decided pudding was a perfectly acceptable thing to give to recovering pilots on their food trays along with the rest of their meals.]

[His hands tighten into fists, digging into the bandages around his palms. Had they not been there his nails would have drawn blood.]

It doesn't matter that he's the arena champ. It doesn't matter how much money the Nest or the Corporations or Gambling Rings or whatever have on him.

If they try to pay me off? I'll kill them all. If they try to protect that bastard I'll kill them all. If they try to threaten me or anyone here? I'll kill everyone they knew for more than five minutes and THEN kill them all.

I think it's bad that you're in this circumstance. But at the same time, you have a goal and you're driven to succeed. Everyone needs something to live for, even if it's just an enemy to fight.
