[It's late at night at Sakihama base. And the only people up this late should be workaholics, and those with active night lives.

So who then, is that you catch out of the corner of your eye?]

Hm... Must be around here somewhere...

[One of them is clearly female, a woman likely in and around her late thirties, but in remarkable physical form. The other...]

Did we really have to do this at night dear? If it were the day, we could at least track him back to his quarters.

[The other is practically her male counterpart, similarly aged, equally fit. He bears something of a resemblance to a certain young pilot...]

Or perhaps...

[Suddenly, he turns on his heel, and throws out a quick series of shuriken, aimed to pin an unfortunate eavesdropper to the walls by their sleeves!]

We could ask them?

Sounds like a plan. Where is Kentaro Torao's room?

So... my baby boy really has become a man...

Be honest, we surprised you didn't we son?

Me. I'm pretty sure I don't smell like a pair of dead bodies.

[Volya's tone was rather irritated. They were becoming a faint memory until Lilica came and dragged them up and then every now and then he'd wake up crying because he could almost see their faces again. Interitus lets out a plaintive whine as it removes the shurikens pinning Volya to the wall and hands (vines?) them back politely to their owner.]

I just... ugh...

So you two are Ken's parents. Right. I think now that I'm talking to you like a sane, normal person; giant plant-dog-girl aside.

[Interitus waves happily.]

Tbthhhht.

And not pinned to the wall with throwing stars

You said you wanted to visit him or something?

...

[Volya's just going to take a deep breath and sigh as he shakes his head. Why is it that he had to have such a weird life? He felt a vine poke him in the arm.]

?

Tbthhhht.

... No.

Tbthhhhhht.

I don't even know why you'd think that's a good idea after seeing... well...

[He motions to the bickering ninjas.]

Tbbbthhhht?... Tbthhhthht?

... I'd have no idea where to even look or if its possible.

Tbhhht?

THAT DOESN'T MEAN I AGREE! I'M NOT GOING TO GROW YOU A BOYFRIEND 'TERITUS!

....Tbhhht?

I don't even know where to look for one for you either!

[He lets out a rather irritable sigh, giving Interitus a look. She scoots back a little and attempts to resemble the image of innocence. Somehow despite being a large plant monster thing she manages to succeed, leading to Volya pressing his palm to his face in frustration.]

Fine. Lets just go before someone else's parents decide to show up and hang me upside down by my ankles or something.

[And with that said, Volya begrudgingly leads the way.]

Huh?

[Volya being russian, doesn't understand the reference.]

Ken's a friend. Like Mizuki and Dido... and a lot of the people here in the Unity Group. I owe everyone here my life.

Even if Ken just started talking about secrets he really shouldn't have when I asked for his help in school and then left me behind to explain to my classmates about the Unity Group when they shouldn't even know about these things.

I mean he's older than me, he should know better and be more responsible! That... that Judas Ninja!

Clan? Like a family? No... Its just something I felt I needed to call him.

Judas was the guy who betrayed Jesus in the Bible... one of the few things I remember from it anyway.

Its a book Christians think is the word of god. My uncle told me not to take it too seriously and just try to learn the lessons that are in the stories.

[Volya shook his head.]

Not really... I'm just a kid, not anyone important... Judas is the one name almost everyone associates to sell outs though...

[Either way the Russian was standing outside of a door. He knocks on it.]

He still hasn't apologized either.
