"That Constans guy is one thing, but against Ingram, FightSaber was absolutely useless. If he hurt Ilinka... damn, I knew we couldn't trust that guy! There was something really shady about him all the time."

"At this rate, FightSaber's going to need an upgrade. It just won't cut it anymore."

[Volya winced at the raised volume and backed up a bit, raising his hands.]

You know, the last time someone told me they wanted to be a hero they ended up trying to murder me because a big wall rug told them to.

[Volya frowns a little.]

Real heroes don't do things for the sake of being heroes, they just do them because its what's the right thing to do. You keep thinking that everything revolves around you and if that isn't being full of yourself I dunno what is.

Loni's losing his composure. He looks like he's going to hit Volya, maybe - but no, he only walks in closer.

"You're saying I'm like that? I'm not! I'm trying my best, you're wrong!"

Then why did you let that guy go?! He killed tons of people back at that base before the Major attacked us! He tried to kill a guy who couldn't even fight back!

Mizuki... Hetepheres... Setsuko... Ken... Dido... even Asagi and Seta...

They wouldn't have let someone like him just run off to do even worse things just because they wanted a rival!!

[Volya stumbles from the eye-watering smack across the face, hand rushing to his reddening cheek. This also proves that Loni truly is the head of the board of bad ideas, because really - slapping Volya right when the huge plant thing he pilots is right there next to them.]



[Several vines rapidly snatched Volya back within arm's reach of the massive beast as it loomed protectively over the russian, both hands slamming down on the floor hard enough to make several objects in the surrounding area rattle before it let out one very loud and severely pissed off roar from the fanged maws in its shoulders.]

[The two eyes on either side of its torso fixate on Loni with a threatening glare. Interitus doesn't make a move, but several vines uncurl from its body and hover close to Volya as if expecting the Fightsaber's pilot to try something again. Needless to say, the normally docile being was.... most perturbed.]

Loni is paralyzed in surprise. Not that he can do much with the vines entangling his arm.

[Interitus lets out another threatening snarl before slowly releasing Loni. Then it lets out a small get of sap that nails him in the torso. Hope you like being extremely sticky for the rest of the day buddy.]
