Bang bang bang! Just like that, your battle is lost.

Fortunately it was only a mock battle with fellow students and practice units. Unfortunately the loss was 100% your fault. Bad teamwork and people not sticking together means the other team picked you out one by one, and now three of your units are standing in the hangar, covered in paint rounds. What say you about this decisive defeat?

Time for the post-practice debriefing, and instructor Suzukaze looks angry. She wastes no time chewing you out.

"Your individual performances are fine, but your teamwork is terrible. You screw up constantly, you trip over each other's feet and get in each other's ways. No other team has this kind of a problem, I just don't get it."

"What do you have to say for yourselves?"

Sixth... though its a little surprising how often we've been told to practice. Are we nearing graduation or something? Because I don't recall getting through so many before...

If they put us through so many exercises, that must mean they have high hopes for us after all.

I can't imagine they'd want us to stay here forever, no.

Honestly, they'd be doing us a favour by letting us stay longer. I've heard the Wulgaru are advancing again.

And that's why they probably won't want to keep us here forever.

But even if Wulgaru come here, don't you think they'd make some other teams fight first and not us?

We're dead last after all.

They're going to need everyone for the war, not just the best. The Wulgaru aren't going to politely send champions and have a fair fight with the best we have.

A lot of aliens attack Earth, but we never see how they look like, just their machines. It's like they're doing this on purpose.

Though yeah, the only aliens we tend to directly see are like, the really big ones. The ones too big for robots...
