[Eva has been released from medical care and supervision-with orders to relax, avoid stress, and most of all to not touch the Albatross. And she's still not getting her weapons back. But for the girl who's constantly exercising, practicing at the shooting range, or trying some simulator mission, the first of those orders is the most problematic.

She can be found in the hangar, wearing her usual civilian clothes-a short skirt and a chinese-looking sleeveless top. There, Eva sits across from the Albatross, 'BE THOU AFRAID' displayed in baroque letters on its forehead. She sits there, and watches, and waits.

And waits.

And waits.]

Seems like an unusual line of work. I'm sure it didn't earn you many friends in the more unsavory groups around the world.

Any particularly memorable encounters with mercenaries or the like who we may have to watch out for coming after you?

Or could be a useful cover if you become a liability to my mission.

[Eva lifts the bottom of her shirt slightly, showing a scar along her left side.]

I survived; they did not. As for old enemies...I would not worry. Their operations are limited to the US-Mexico border area, and they lack heavy military equipment and materiel.

We deal with a rather different crowd of enemies, here.

Hmm... That does appear to have been a serious wound. Depending on the blade it could have dealt damage to the the subcostal and Iliohypogastric nerves in addition to the intercostal arteries and your stomach or intestines. The jaggedness of the scar also looks like it was done with a blade that was not well taken care of or another improvised weapon. The treatment and recovery time must have taken some time.

[Lamia takes a moment to pause after her surprisingly clinical assessment of the old wound as she realized what she had just been doing.]

But that's just me rambling, I'm probably not even remotely correct about it so you should just displace the cognition of that fact. [Lamia's face falls into a look that can only be described as annoyed and upset with just a hint of petulance.] Please exempt the recollection of the atypical phrases.

[Lamia's face begins to flush as her expression darkens before she bows and speaks before turning to leave.]

I believe a refrigerator is pointless if it's not running, why would that make for urgent business?

That is impossible under the device's own capabilities. If you are aware of any theft of supplies or materials should you not report it to the security personnel?
