[Following a recent paycheck and as a way of passing time, Kei had acquired a fairly large collection of board games, but such things obviously needs other players. As such a game night is held for the pilots and support staff of Unity Group. The venue? The only place on any of the bases suitable for a large gathering possibly sticking around until late in the night - Asagi's room. Several board games are scattered across the room, taking up both table, bed and floor space, though one table is reserved for snacks. It holds a variety of different ones, centering on a large number of Kei's strange, technicolor cakes, but also featuring more ordinary ones for those without hummingbird metabolisms or who just have a sense of taste.
So what are people playing and how many friendships are ruined by brutal backstabs or lame jokes about what to give in exchange for sheep?]

AND THIS IS?

(The cat looks really excited)
I have the rule book and collected the miniatures, but I never got the chance to play it! For some reason my friends weren't too interested on it.
(Maybe that's because the rule book is an inch thick and looks as complex as a real plane's manual)

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T NOTICE, WHISKERS, THIS THING PRETY MUCH REQUIRES THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS READ THE ENTIRE MANUAL BEFOREHAND. HOW EXACTLY WERE YOU EXPECTING PEOPLE TO JOIN YOU JUST LIKE THAT.
[The Major is looking at the miniatures, though. Though what she thinks about them, anyone's guess]

You see, your plane can move on as many hexes as your engine stat divided by the wind vector. The wind vector is derived by comparing the roll of a twenty sided dice with wind direction table and your plane's nose direction...
Do you like the miniatures, Ma'am? I painted them myself!

AND THIS SEEMS A GOOD LIKENESS OF A HANNOVER CL III. YOU PAINT WELL FOR HAVING PAWS.

VERY WELL. I HAVE TWO HOURS. I CAN PLAY YOUR GAME.
I'LL TAKE THE FOKKER DR I AND D VII AND THE HANRIOT. THREE VERSUS THREE. YOU'LL HAVE TO ROLL THE DICE.
[A focus on planes that were renowned for maneuverability - Kagura may not know the rules, but she clearly has a plan already. And apparently knows a bit about WW1]

Anyway, you have good eyes, major, but can you fight against my wing?
(Archie carefully pushes forward three plane with his paws. A SPAD XIII, and SE5, the cat chose the fastest fighters with the most powerful engines from the war! And more so, it's led by a SPAD XII, a prototype fighter infamous for its cannon gun. Clearly the cat loves high horsepower and massive firepower.)
I move first! I move forward and split my wing three ways.
(The cat pushes the miniature planes on the hex map toward different directions. Apparently it's trying to attack Kagura's wings from three different directions at once using its advantage in speed.)
