Good to finally hear your voice too, Mizuki.  After what I've been through... well, it's nice talking to a being of darkness that isn't pure evil and all that.  For that matter, one with some brains.  I'm sorry for making you worry though... it's quite a story to tell  and I'm not exactly in any condition to tell it just yet.  I'll do what I can to see you soon though, or maybe you guys can drop by for a visit or just whatever.

[The DuskBird's in bad shape when it finally arrives back at Sakihama.  It's still mostly there, just... lacking a sense of structure.  Joints.  Like parts of itself just coil up together under its own weight.  And Mizuki herself...?  Well-]

I think nostalgia's clouding your memories of Sara, Dido. She was a good person... but saintlike... she wasn't that.

She didn't take bad turns well. The way she talked about SolCrusader to Cathy and Liz... the way she took Kanade singing her Swan Song and worrying everyone would just throw her away...

... I think she took from all of that a belief that maybe playing hero -hero the way she thought she had to- wasn't working. And with the Indalph she'd have the potential to become something greater.

She took failure as badly as I did, but didn't have her own answer on how to change things. She took an opportunity - what she saw as an answer - and took it. But honestly, that's not the thing that worries me most about this. Its what the Indalph promised her that's a real problem.

She wrinkles her nose. "I just don't get it. Ruling and conquering several universes...what would you gain? Not happiness, that's for sure! Not even peace of mind, if you're constantly attacking other realities and making enemies!"
