[Locked to Ken]

One sunny, lazy afternoon, you receive a communique from your mechanic.

"Hello, is this thing transmitting...? Hey Ken! Dido here! I set up a bunch of equipment in Hanger 3 for measuring Sol Energy and medical readouts!

Wanna experiment with Ki sensing and manipulation, like we talked about? I've got some cool experiments planned out! And protein bars, if you're hungry!"

[2]

[Open to everyone, particularly aliens, monsters, Ki-wielding martial artists, and dour pilots with demon arms!]

Those of you who find yourselves walking along one of the Saikhama base hallways stumble across an interesting sight!

Ken, the Ninja boy wonder, is sitting on a mat on the north side of the hall, wearing a blindfold and headphones. Dido stands by him, clutching a small walkie talky. She speaks into it as you pass by:

"Okay, Ken: does this person have any Ki? Describe what it feels like aloud! Any colors, tastes or, uh, tingles to it?"

[Feel free to describe what Ken senses with his fledgling Ki-sense...or even if he senses anything]

Re: 2

Well... I suppose by this point, what I mean in saying 'ki' is a bit different from what others might say.

[Ken pauses to explain, feeling... slightly confused.]

Twenty years ago, an enemy force emerged from another dimension. It wielded 'Void Energy', a kind of antithesis force to Sol energy, which is basically solar energy, but particular to our native star of Sol. Because all energy on Earth - barring geothermal power - stems from the sun, nearly all life holds and produces it.

Consequently though, 'ki' for anyone born on Earth wouldn't be the same as that of someone from another world, whose star would be different from ours. Or in the case of the autobots, who have a different form of energy entirely, they have something akin to ki, but not ki...

I-Its a little complicated I'll admit. I suppose you could consider it all 'ki', but different kinds and flavours, like... like... Ice Cream.

[That strange, strange explanation aside...]

You're... odd, though.

Ahh, I see. I did not realize the principles were so specific.

I was born under the same sun as you and everyone else, I wonder why would my "ki" be odd.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. It could be... something about you affecting it. I mean, I haven't been trying to sense how the ki of animals works, just humans, so...

[Ken pauses as he realises an unintended way to take his words.]

N-Not saying you're like an animal, just... different, at some level, which could play in.

Well, I'm not an animal obviously. But I'm not a human either, so no offense intended or taken.
