[It doesn't need to be said that Tsubasa was left a complete mess after the mission.
Kanade, who teased her for her weaknesses.
Kanade, who was there for her when she was down.
Kanade, who held her hand through new experiences and encouraged her.
The Kanade she had depended on - her only partner, and the one she promised to sing with forever.
That Kanade is now no more.
Tsubasa was practically frozen where the older girl had disappeared. She cried until she couldn't do so any more, refusing to move until exhaustion got the better of her. There was no other apt reaction to how she felt.
Anger, frustration, disappointment, sadness, loneliness...
But afterwards, she's nowhere to be found in the infirmary or anywhere on base. There are no notes left behind, only an empty bed where she should be resting. Clearly, no amount of consoling would have helped, and she didn't even want to hear any of it from the UG members. The last thing she needed was people telling her to move on.
In the distance, a military helicopter takes off with the remaining Zwei Wing member inside. Tsubasa only glances at Sakihama one last time before she looks away.]

I know now that this isn't the answer. It never was.
In the end, I am but a sword. From now on...I fight alone.

[Although Tsubasa left quietly and suddenly, a notice is put up later of her departure from the UG and re-assignment to the 2nd Division HQ.]

So there goes the last weapon we had against the noise. I can't blame her given how badly Kanade's death shook us or after what happened to the Beckett brothers. Well I can at least hope that she doesn't do anything reckless, she's done enough and we'll find another way of fixing this problem.
Really makes you wonder what most of these organizations have been thinking when I fall closer to the middle of the age curve then the younger end of things. Five years doesn't feel like it should be that much of a difference.
[Yuuya puts his pad away and continues down the hallway, perhaps a little sadder but also hopeful that someone who seemed to have been forcing herself has stepped away from the battlefield.]

What shall we do if the Noise attack without any Symphogear users to counter them?

We'll do what we've been doing, stumble along and struggle to find a way through. We've done it with the BETA and those weird flesh monsters.
I'd rather Tsubasa leave then go out to the field of battle halfheartedly. The latter will just get her killed and leave us in a position where our countermeasure against the Noise is no longer there making a relatively safe situation much more dangerous.
I doubt that the rest of the second division is going to just stand idly by and do nothing. We just have to trust that they'll provide the necessary countermeasures.

However, I do hope you are right.

I was too slow. I don't even know what she must be feeling now.
[All of this is too much for Izuru. He will wander around the halls of various Unity Group bases without purpose.]

In her place, wouldn't you do the same...?

[Izuru is very dispirited. How out of character for him.]

[Ataru had been hanging back, not quite sure what to say really...]
...This might not be the best of times, but... you guys wanna get ice cream, or... something? I dunno, my treat.

[After nodding in agreement with Ataru, Kei sent Asagi and Izuru a look telling them not to speak up.]

[What's with that look? For some reason a shiver went down Izuru's spine.]
I mean, why not.

[Asagi's not that good at trying to put on a cheerful face.]
