[Him taking his training regimen to new, absurd levels. He didn't go anywhere without weights the lengths of his forelimbs. Several push ups, pull ups, sit ups, and whatever else he could think of were made before and after he entered every room. And that little gym he made for himself in the 'fake' city which covers the entrance of the base? Yeah, that's getting some real usage as he punches pretty much everything he can. Interrupt...?]

And this is a controlled environment. I made it, I control it.
[As if to demonstrate, he attacks a self made striking post... which when struck, spins clearly faster than expected. He manages to deflect it all the same, but he was definitely caught offguard.]

Ken, please. Everything's bee thrown for a loop. The Director's probably in a state of shock over this and who knows how many other people back at Solaris are too. This isn't the first time Solaris has lost a pilot, but it's never been like this...

[Ken's clearly frustrated, but by the way his eyes dart back as he continues getting undressed, its also clear that's its not so much Yuuya's fault, as him just being the person nearby.]

I'm torn up about it too... but when things happen you need a clear head and you're not going to get it, here, alone, and angry at everything.

[Yuuya goes and pulls out a chair from the desk and sits facing Ken.]
I get that you're feeling guilty and understand that. I killed a member of my flight flying fancy and accidentally starting a landslide which buried and crushed his TSF. That was something I did on accident and is my guilt to bear, you didn't directly harm Sarah or do anything that led to her capture.
I've done what you're doing and almost crippled myself doing it, the only reason I didn't is because someone came and found me desperately trying to keep a set of weights from crashing down and crippling my left shoulder.
You keep going like this and you'll wind up in the infirmary for a sprain or worse, that is assuming something disastrous doesn't happen and leave you buried under a pile of scrap you built into another training machine.
Now I'm sitting here trying to help as an apology for our first meeting. I'd like it if we could properly bury the hatchet on our initial feud and focus on what's going to be important ahead.

To take out the Noise well enough beforehand. We had to rely on Kaname - who shouldn't have even been anywhere outside of a shelter - screwing around with the enemy's head to open up the chance to beat the other robot that was there. Before that, in La Gias, we needed the Granzon to fire its gravity weapon twice, after a number of our units were disabled.
What the hell would you suggest? An actual suggestion on what to do, and not just telling me how bad what I'm doing now is? You're supposed to be my team 'leader' aren't you?
[His finger is pointed towards Mizuki, stopping just short of her.]

[Ken visibly reels over when the wound is touched, and he takes several moments - time in which for Yuuya to find his seat - to get the flare up to die back down. Once thats done, all he does is glare as the actual soldier speaks.]
Then lets hear your amazing plan on what exactly I should do then, eh? An actual answer would be nice, rather than a diatribe on how you screwed up but you're all better now.

[For a moment afterwards she just stands there, thinking. But then she reaches behind her back, pulling out a small cup.]
Do you know what this is? Tea. Tea Yuuya gave me earlier when he was trying to support me after everything. Either he never got the memo about me and most foods or he just forgot. Either way he's done more reaching out in the wake of all this than you have... and considering how bad I insulted him one time that's really saying something.
[And with that, she downs the whole drink in one go. She winds up coughing half of it back up, her legs nearly giving out on her almost immediately as she glares at Ken.]

What I came here for is to talk. We've noticed you running around and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's spoken to you and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one concerned. If you want to rant, rave or whatever go ahead because whatever gets this out of your system is going to be the best for everyone.
And you know what happened on that island you were so quick to point out? Lt. Takamura and I finally had it out, Cryska was able to bring certain things to a head and in the end things have started to smooth out there. So you've got issues with me and with what happened. We can fix one of them tonight and maybe get a start on the other so that's what's gonna happen. Would you like to start now or am I going to have to wait for a while?
