[The battle against the NUNE wound up spiraling into other things... which entailed the first formation of Solaris's newest, strongest combiner: SolSavior.  The same machine now returning to the Sakihama Base, triumphant after kicking serious ass.  Reason to celebrate?  Not this time.]

... Don't be dead out there.  Please don't be dead!  You... we're... the Savior team... and if you're gone then nothing will...

[Yeah, she's been like this ever since the first battle with a new threat -the Indalph- ended.  The Director's granddaughter -her best friend no less- missing and possibly held prisoner, though most likely dead.]

Dido... I'm sorry.  Putting you in danger like that, ordering you to launch with Sara's machine... that's not what you signed up for.

This isn't anything like I thought would...

She is probably in danger, yes. At the very least, the Indalph know her vague location. At worst, she is their prisoner.

We must find a way to find her.

... One lead could be to ask Seta about this. That one kijin arrived similar to the way the Indalph did, if they use a similar means of breaching reality, then that's something.

I talked with her about this already, a few weeks ago. The Kijin escape from their dimensional prison when enough despair is amassed that it weakens the borders.

I am not sure how much common ground applies here. But the Indalph general was intent on spreading despair around...

Then there may still be some similarities in how they operate, even if they're unrelated to each other.

... Should have asked Lucy to dig up more of Saturnia's memory when we had the chance. Saturnia herself might have not known anything specific, but it could have been another lead.

[Coulda, shoulda, woulda. Mizuki's left furrowing her brow.]

But Saturnia was spiteful in the end. As much as I don't want anyone else endangered by them, I wouldn't say no to another member of this group if it means getting more information from a relatively weak enemy.

We should take the next Indalph enemy we encounter prisoner, and interrogate them. Provided they will lack Saturnia's power to turn everything into dust with an incantation... This ability, without anything to stop it, makes one too dangerous to be taken alive.

I don't think Saturnia's power was necessarily that though...

Her title was "Fateshifter"... and maybe she had some kind of causality-manipulating power. One she used lazily to just make people around her die.

At any rate, no matter what her power really was, she's gone now. And if the Indalph want to make another expeditionary force they're going to have to gamble with more of their manpower again.

We can only guess what might the other Indalph bring to the table. Everything about this new enemy is a mystery.

Except the fact that they bleed and can be killed. And that is reassuring.

It always is. And not that we eneded it, but the Savior Team can have a solid objective to work towards: rescuing Sara.
