Hello, everyone!  As you may remember, when the Unity Group began combat operations, I introduced to you an unlikely ally: the Abyss Empress herself.  And now... I give you her very followers!  The Grand Vizier Zangango and General Salanshiel!

[The video screen shifts to show the two other Abyssians, who actually are wearing normal clothing and just sort of sheepishly wave at the camera before they start to speak to each other.]

I hope Mizuki doesn't get too embarassed about this.

Well it's a special occasion, hopefully she'll understand.

[What's to understand?  It's just Sara pulling another melodramatic prank... and that's reason enough to storm down the halls!]

So... yeah.  These are my parents... legally "Ichi Onodera" and "Haru Onodera".

We apologize for the short notice of the visit, we would've let Mizuki know in advance but Sara thought to make it more of a surprise.  That said.... we also didn't come empty handed.

[Indeed they didn't.  In fact, they're carrying several hand-bags filled with sealed containers labeled 'Safe' or 'Sol only'.]

We were hoping to have a meal together with Mizuki, like a family... but we brought along extras just in case anyone wanted to join us.

Unfortunately, no. My father was just supposed to be an adviser, my mother someone to send out our presumed underlings. They have plenty of Void energy supporting them... but nothing like the DuskBird.

"So much for my family picnic idea." Dido muses quietly.

Then a grin sprouts across her face. "You know, we've still got time to make some cosmetic mods to Dusk Birds before we close her up. Want to add some badass decals?"

She nudges Mizuki's shoulder. "A little teenage rebellion, amiright?"

I'm three years too soon for "teenage" rebellion chronologically, and well past it physiologically, thank you very much.

Just make sure it'll be able to combine with the ScarleTiger, and after that work on the-

"Ummm..." Dido says, pulling out her tablet and looking something up.

"It's called She-Lancer...or Shell-Ancer...Schlancer?? I can't tell if the Ls are supposed to be silent."

Dido calls up the schematics and shows them to Mizuki. "Anyway! It's going to be Turtle-themed and have lightning powers!"

Pretty sure the "ls" wouldn't be. So like... "Shell-answer" or pronounced like that.

Looks great... though you have to wonder what kind of robot takes darkness, fire, and electricity, mixes them together and gets light.

"Dude," Dido says with a shrug. "We were just trying to get the final blueprints stamped and approved by the committee: dramatic symbolism kind of fell by the wayside."

She snaps her fingers. "I know! Dark matter, fire and lightning are all a form of plasma, and plasma creates light. Boom! there's our marketing campaign right there!"
