[As Willis walks up and about, resuming his usual behavior, the other person who made a miraculous recovery is quietly sipping tea.
...Oh, she had a bit of squirming metal stabbed straight through her ankle, and somehow teleported twice during the battle. Nothing, really.]
Well Mistress, I would say that went well. No-one seems to have noticed your...indiscretion.

Y-yes, indeed...nobody at all...

...You can't seriously be upset...

But I tried so hard! I even let some of my many secrets slip, and dropped hints about my dark and mysterious past!
*sniff*
...I'm never going to be cool...
[She continues sobbing quietly into the tea.]

...In any case, there is no point in getting concerned with being "cool". Be good at what you do and impressing others, if it really is what you care about, will happen naturally, without any conscious effort put into it.
Do you happen to have more tea?

Oh, Sayo, could you-

[Hetepheres sips her tea, but not before adding a blasphemous amount of sugar to it.]
I am simply a soldier, trying to act in the best interest of both of our species. Which includes stopping fools from both from wrecking everything.

[Sayo gives a sigh of relief.]
But it's still not very romantic.

Why do you keep your eyes closed...?

The ability to see with your eyes closed is already shocking...

Though for an enemy of humanity, you seem to be doing a good job protecting it from external threats.

[Flashback time! Kanae stands in a GHQ office, near her superiors.]
"Hmmm...We should loan someone to the Unity Group, it'll make us look better."
"What about that crazy mass-murdering jap bitch? It'll keep her out of our hair."
"Sirs..."
"Hey, good idea! That way if she flips out again it won't be on us."
"Sir, I'm right here."
"Good! Then I don't have to tell you again. Lt. Ootori, pack your bags and get going."
[FLASHBACK OVER.]
...Yes. It's definitely that.

Oh? I didn't know you knew anyone else from Yamato, Lt. Bridges.
From:

As for the whole Yamato thing then that was my mistake. Kanae seems enough like the Japanese that I just assumed that was her homeland. Most people from Yamato don't really get out as I recall.

"Who...no, what are you?" He exclaims dramatically, pointing a finger at Kanae. "No normal human could do what you did during that battle!"
