[A few days before the Unity Group announcement, a knight-like machine enters Fort Alhambra. The pilot that emerges from the machine is a rather scruffy looking young man - who looks like he's been wearing the same jacket for years.]

Let me see if I remember how to do this...uh nice to meet everyone. My name is Willis Clades. I'm just a regular old merc who's been hired by the Unity Group. So yeah, I hope we'll be able to work together well in the future.

[Several days later, the real reason behind Willis joining the Unity Group was made clear. Willis can be found in the cafeteria with a mountain of empty plates piled on one side of him, full plates on the other. ]

Real food! No more scrounging or having to wash dishes for a meal. This is the best!

And trying to stay out of trouble, no doubt. But now that we're finally working together again, you should at least do something about those awful clothes.

Still, I can't say it's been as eventful for me all these years.

That's surprising, I thought the life of a Merc working for GA would be would be pretty interesting.

...You'd think so, but with these corporations, you never know what they're really thinking.

[The expression on Willis' face changes for a second but he manages to bring it back to normal.]

At least GA works separately from the League, right?

I'm not silly enough to think that they're not always planning something even then. Profit is what business is all about.

Still, they've helped me get up to this point, and I'm sure I can trust them not to do anything stupid like trying to threaten the UG if they don't cooperate.

I'm sure they're smart enough to realize that working with the Unity Group is better for business. For everyone.
