How do I sign up to do this full time?

Musashi Tomoe's low reflexes and coordination make him an ill-fit for piloting Getter Robo. He will be held here for observation until we are sure he is not in danger from Reptiloids, and then released back to civilian life.

I'm speaking literally. The last real pilot of that machine was killed by it.

How badly do you want to be a part of this?

If you're so eager to pilot, why haven't you enlisted somewhere?

I dunno. It never occurred to me before. I didn't want to just join the army, you know?

Also I'm still in school I guess.

You're in luck. Superheroism doesn't require you to have graduated. It may mean some extra hoops for you to jump through, though.
