[A video introduction. This time, the person in question is a white-haired young woman who wears a pair of frameless glasses. Somehow, her outfit has also changed since her appearance in the mission; from a long white battle dress to something more like a formal long coat, complete with a tie.]
...Greetings to all members of the Unity Group.
My name is Seta Albreich. I am an enforcer, or agent, of the Gloster Foundation - an organization devoted to defending Earth and its inhabitants from a particular supernatural threat.
Until today, the Gloster Foundation has operated independently of other groups and nations, maintaining a low profile as per our late leader's wishes. Most of you have probably not heard about us because of this. Unfortunately, we can no longer continue to fight our enemies on our own.
As such, I will be here as a representative of the Foundation as part of a deal to forge an alliance with the ESUN and the Unity Group.
[She bows slightly.]
I deeply apologize for inconveniencing you with yet another enemy to deal with, but I do hope we will be able to work together.
[That looked like it went surprisingly well, especially if you've seen what kind of person she is before the announcement. But the video cuts off immediately afterwards. So quickly and flawlessly, in fact, that there's no time to really respond to it or ask questions...
It's almost as if she's practiced this.]
---

[If you're visiting the lounge of Sakihama later on, you'll find Seta murmuring to herself...]
I am never doing that again...
I swore the previous time would be the last, but they never listened to me...no, I will make them listen next time...
[And as she's turning around or beginning to walk, she stubs her toe on the leg of a nearby couch, causing her to freeze in pain.]

[Have you ever appeared next to a regular unsuspecting person? Imagine that shocked expression they have, only about ten times worse.]
Y-yes! Very alright!
[It's probably a good half a minute or so before she actually turns to face you.]
...I...could share a few details about them...
From:

[Note to self... maybe tone down how sudden one appears. At least she doesn't have something to hit him with...]
Anything to do with today, or...?

Fortunately, they did not manifest this time...
[She stops to consider her words carefully.]
...That is related to something that I am allowed to share...
The threats I speak of appear through 'Gates'...that emerge in locales where negative human emotions are concentrated...
From:

[Ken pinches his nose, recalling all the other cases thus far.]
And what does this 'threat' then do from there...?
From:
no subject
So...like Jaegers and the Kaiju, the Foundation's task...is to intercept these threats as soon as they make themselves known.
[Of course, it's not very hard to tell that she's withholding quite a bit here still.]
From:

[Not unlike other threats to the Earth as well. But what else might distinguish these threats, Ken wonders.]

But among the Foundation members, and to separate these beings from other similar creatures, we refer to them as the Kijin (鬼神).
[Seeing as you're Japanese, Ken, this is something you can figure out. It also seems to be a trend in naming monsters these days.]
From:
no subject
[Yeah, Ken really appreciates the effort to co-opt his language to name these sorts of things. He crouches down with a sigh.]
I imagine they've gotta have something in common then. Or is it really just those 'gates'?
From:
no subject
...From what we have been able to gather so far, all Kijin are part of the same race. They vary greatly in shape and size, but that is similar to how humans are of different ethnicity...
In general, they are divided into two classes...a stronger and a weaker class...we refer to these as Higher and Lower class respectively.
The Higher-class are much stronger and rarer than their counterparts...even I have never encountered one myself.
From:
no subject
[Ken pauses before he responds, wondering what might cause such doubt...]
And these 'lower class'... how easy - or difficult - were they for you to contend with?
[She only mentioned not facing a higher class, after all.]
From:

I am not the Foundation's best...I'm afraid.
From:

[Ken lays a hand on her shoulder.]
Maybe you're better than you think.
[Kind of ironic, given who's talking...]
From:

T...T...Thank you...
From:

[He realises he did rather forget to introduce himself. An unfortunate habit at times...]
From:
no subject
[Unfortunately, she's too freaked out by the hand on the shoulder to even mention that it's uncomfortable. But hey, at least the introduction gets across.]
From:
no subject
[After a few moments, Ken realises it was still there, and removes it post-haste.]
...You... uh... need anything else? Directions to your dorm?
From:
no subject
...Are we not supposed to rent our own rooms out in the city?
From:
no subject
[Ken shrugs.]
I mean, I guess if you want to, sure. But a bunch of us - myself, Kaname - live on the base entirely. And if they made me pay for that, I sure as hell wouldn't be able to.
From:

When I explained that I lacked the funds to do this, he directed me to a job vacancy at a...Made Cafe...I believe. It is supposed to a job that I would excel at, even with no prior experience...
From:
no subject
[Ken gives a quick glance over.]
I'm sure you would.
But! There's space here if you need it.
From:

[If only she knew what she was getting into...]
