One fine day, someone posts a general video message on the Unity Group network.

"Hello! This is Ranger Yancy Beckett, on loan with his brother from the Pan Pacific Defense Corps."

He smiles. "I've been impressed by everyone I've met here, and I'm looking forward to defending the Earth with you all!"

His smile fades. "That being said, there's something that I've been meaning to ask folks, something that's been bugging me for a bit." He fidgets, then blurts out:

"Why are there so many kids here?"

"You could say that, yeah." Yancy agrees. "But what should we try to do about it?"

There's nothing we could do other than trying to make them live longer than us.

"Well, that's a defeatist attitude, Mr. Negative Nancy!" Yancy says. "Let's try and brainstorm ideas!"

Do you think they'll listen to use if we yell, "Get out of my lawn?"

"...Dude." Yancy says flatly. "That's probably the most disobeyed command in the history of mankind.'

Those whippersnappers really don't know what's good for them, aren't they?

Yancy stares at Walt from a sideways angle, and then asks:

"Have you ever gone to therapy, Lieutenant?"

I haven't even told you what depresses me the most about them!
