[So, yesterday's mission went comparatively well. As such, one might think that after holding off near-singlehandedly a mechanical Cthulhu the size of a building, Kagura might be celebrating. You'd think wrong.
If you want to find her to ask her something, you'll probably find her in a very out of the way office at Alhambra, with a cable connected from her form to a computer, filling out the paperwork and debriefings like a prim and proper officer should. Unity Group may be mostly comprised of lawless mavericks, but some people still hold to regulations. She's still pretty scratched from the mission, but she can get her repairs later. Nothing vital was hit, anyway. Also, if you are very observant, you might notice the names of some of the people in yesterday's mission in the scrolling forms.
If you want to bother her, though, this is probably the best time, insofar as there is any good time to bother the grumpy Major]

[A bit later, you might find her talking on the comm in an empty room. The other side of the comm can't be heard, but deducing the gist of the contents from Kagura's reactions from the moment you're in earshot is not really very hard]
WHAT.
[Pause as the other side talks]
WHY WOULD WE EVEN HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT.
[Short pause]
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. OF COURSE THERE WERE GRAVEYARD EXECUTORS NEAR THE HACKED SUITS. I SENT THEM THERE TO HELP WITH THEIR DISABLING. HOW EXACTLY WOULD ARMED OPERATIVES HACK A HUNDRED POLICE SUITS.
[Very long pause, probably an explanation]
WONDERFUL. WELL NOT LIKE WE SHOULD CARE. JUST ANOTHER ANNOYANCE.
[Short pause]
I'LL KEEP IN TOUCH.
[And with that, she cuts the communication channel, before grumbling to herself]
I HATE MEDIA.

Though if we're puzzling out things I'd like to try to figure out how a bug roughly 10 feet tall can output a directed energy blast powerful enough to burn through almost any normal man-made material like butter and be able to do so continuously with only a 12 second window between shots.
Respectfully, I think we've got a LOT more questions than answers at this point so making sure what we DO know gets distributed properly is likely going to be our best bet for making it through this whole mess in one piece.

AND SECOND, WE WILL SHARE DATA ON THE KNOWN PRAYERS, BUT YOU CAN WARN YOUR PEOPLE ALREADY TO NOT EXPECT BUCKETS OF INFORMATION. MOST OF WHAT GRAVEYARD HAS ON PRAYERS, BEYOND THEIR CAPABILITIES, IS VARIED LEVELS OF CLASSIFIED.
ON THE PLUS SIDE YOU CAN ALSO EXPECT THAT UNITY GROUP IS NOT GOING TO SEE A LOT OF PRAYER ACTION UNTIL SOMETHING CHANGES. THIS SORTIE WAS DONE BECAUSE THE SHAFT APPEARED BOTH LESS THAN TEN MINUTES FLIGHT FROM SAKIHAMA BASE AND IMPROBABLY CLOSE TO A SETTLEMENT. AND, HONESTLY, BECAUSE WITHOUT THE INTERRUPTION IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A WALK IN THE PARK. FOR STANDARD PRAYER APPEARANCES THE GRAVEYARD EXECUTORS WILL KEEP PERFORMING THEIR JOB. UNITY CAN FOCUS ON OTHER MATTERS

As for extra information my team is used to fighting the BETA, all we know about them is that they really don't like us, there's a crap ton of them, and that Laser class make air support more of a liability than an asset. Oh, and tank class make for a grisly death so watch out for them. We're used to operating more reactively on observed action patterns than "this is what we understand and predict about our enemies".
As for that deployment I'm glad to actually have gotten out even if it was for something you'll call a cakewalk. I'm still working out piloting the new unit and shaking bugs from it so something direct and easy is better than having to push it to the full peaks of performance right off the bat.

AND YES. MOST OF OUR OWN OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN BORN OF EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME WAY. THE ONE GOOD PART OF THE PRAYERS BEING IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL IS THAT WE COLLECTED A LOT OF COMBAT DATA VERY QUICKLY.

Well joke and comment Major. With all do respect with your appearance and voice it's somewhat difficult to pick up on the normal gender cues and your official bio and mannerisms don't offer much of a clue there either. I thought a joke might be one way to bring it up but apparently you don't care for that kind of humor so I'll apologize.
As for the briefings I'll make sure that the elements of my command are properly notified to expect them. It was a pleasure serving with you Ma'am and I hope we'll have the opportunity to sortie together again in the future.
