[Ryoma didn't bother to introduce himself for his first few days as a member of UG, because it wasn't like it was his idea to join these guys. Dr. Saotome had insisted on it, just as he insisted on Ryoma piloting Getter Robo in the first place. He was beginning to wonder why he let an old, out of shape guy half his height boss him around, but considering the Doc just lost a son, he'd decided not to get too argumentative about it.

At any rate, he's apparently willing to get chummy now. ...Sort of. He's walking around Sakihama Base, cheerfully(?) accosting everyone he bumps into.]

Who do you think are the strongest fighters in UG?

[Unless there are regular tournaments, after all, this sort of thing can be a matter of opinion. He doesn't mind compiling an oversized list. It'll just give him an excuse to narrow it down.]

Once I was done with the tournament circuit, I thought I must have been the strongest in the world. Do you know what it's like to have nowhere left to go? Heh. Thank god this freakshow found me. It's on a whole new level!

Modern martial arts are a sport, all judges and colored belts and padded mats. It's stifling and boring. The risk of a few broken bones is a greater teacher than any amount of kicking in a line.

What's that supposed to mean? Fighting a tough opponent is the best kind of workout you can get! It gives you a chance to learn new tricks and techniques, too!

Kagura... could technically count. She's a robot, yes, but she's also her own individual. Though I suppose by that logic, all the autobots would count, and some of the bigger ones especially...

[Ken is giving this probably way more fight than anyone else reasonably would. But then, a martial artist knows to appreciate the strength of others.]

Scaling back, uh... Mizuki would definitely be one of the more power people around. I mean, aside of her weakness to the sun, she was made with powers to lead a dark empire intent on conquering the world.

How do you define strength? Personal power? Skill in piloting your mech? The raw power of your mech? Being able to use the ability you possess to the best results?

Please, spare me this "real man" hogwash. That's just an excuse for acting like a hot-headed idiot instead of doing what you're expected to do. This is a military base; not everyone here is a soldier, but some modicum of discipline is expected from everybody.

Sparring in robots would be a bad idea I think. They already cost a lot to fix up between missions as is.

True as well. I've my own businesses I must tend to, but as for a good fighter, there are certainly a few, but they vary both in, and out of their machines.

Speaking of, yours is quite impressive. Particularly that speed.
