[The moment Leos was dragged back to base it was clear things were going to be pretty bad. Why? Because his handler was chewing him out royally right there in the hangar.]

Pale Rider is being put into repairs again Leos, and not only that your actions are having PROGTECH question your competence. They are planning to drop your sponsorship altogether because of your childish, undisciplined and impulsive behavior-

Lana didn't even raise her voice as she proceeded to tear into him like a frigid wind with a side order of ice cold rain.]
Cause irreparable damage to several of Pale Rider's systems for the sake of revenge. Revenge I may add that you aren't even prepared to take because of how under-trained, inexperienced and ill equipped you are. Not to mention your immaturity and utter lack of ability to maintain focus on a designated objective.
You. are. pathetic. I'm locking down the Pale Rider after its repairs are complete and speaking to PROGTECH about suspending your access to the Arena for the time being. Until you can actually learn to grow up as well as use a machine without completely destroying it, don't you dare so much as even get five feet of that Armored Core.
[Lana does a precise turn without even looking back at Leos, who looked up at her with a piteous expression on his face.]

[No dice, she just walks out the closest exit, leaving Leos to slump to the ground.]

No. As I said before, Leos is childish and impulsive. If I were any softer it wouldn't dig deep enough into his mind that he made a mistake.
So, care to tell me why is it that a member of Solaris is finding the need to tell me how I can and cannot handle the Raven I'm managing?

[Sara's not budging, but not that she has Lana's attention she does let go. Or rather push the arm against Lana before letting go.]
And the fault here lies with you. Leos had the drive and resolve to charge straight at the greatest Raven. It's what's motivated him through everything!
You should be making use of that motivation to help him grow, not make him ashamed of having someone to strive towards beating!
Take it from a Solaris member: knowing you have an enemy to oppose and stand opposite to never hurt anyone.

[Lana grimaces and for a moment it looks like she may deal out what she did to Leos on Sara but keeps it in check.]
Hmph... if you thought that was drive and resolve you're mistaken. Leos is far to emotional to have anything you could call either. It was just a reckless whim given life by his guilt and anger. If he had the drive and resolve you spoke of he would have been a better pilot.
Not only that, you claim that 'motivating' him would help him grow? Care to explain how you would motivate him when he believes at this current point that his sole reason for existing is murdering the Rank One Raven?
His. Sole. Reason. He has no other dreams, no other desires. All he wants is that man dead. I do not doubt that even if somehow his family and friends were returned to him alive and well he would still be attempting murder.

You have to win fights in your mind before you win them in reality. How many other Ravens have gone up against Hustler One whilst being intimidated by him? How many more would be willing to charge at the man? With the drive Leos has, all he needs is the practice and experience!
You... chose him for a reason, in spite of everything. Don't go pretending now you made a mistake!
He can do it; I know he can. And when he's finally toppled the Rank One Raven, then he can worry about getting his life back on track.
