Let me put it this way. My old boss is a stubborn old goat who's refusing to acknowledge anything that appears to challenge his worldview.

Right now there are a lot of potentially dangerous objects all in one place, either the person who wants them is going to try something crazy or my idiot boss will donate these 'historical artifacts' and a lot of innocent people will get killed... once again by the person after said artifacts.
