[The stuff with Ken's fistfight and the discussion that followed has left Mizuki with some things to seriously mull over as she walks the halls of the Sakihama base.  Her DEEP IN THOUGHT look's only undermined by the cup of some... thing in a salty broth she's occasionally slurping.]

Beggars can't be choosers, can they?  Just hope he gets his head on straight, for everyone's sake.

Believe me, that's the plan. He didn't get sent out here because we wanted him to pick fights and be a jerk, that's for sure.

Is he your only underling, by the way? I think the only other one I met who might qualify is Sara, and your relationship seems to be of a different nature.

Well... the idea is more we're just a team, and I'm the one calling the shots. Partly because, well, I was meant to be a leader anyways, partly because I'm the only one with a decent machine, and partly because I'm the one who planned all of this with the Director.

And the difference between Ken and Sara is I've only just met Ken, but Sara and I have been lifelong friends. The Abyss Empress and the Director's granddaughter... unlikely at first but we were both around the same age. We've gornw up together, and she didn't want me to do this all on my own.
