So when the girl appears from the ceiling, the fairy's paranoia is running full throttle, and the psychic is greeted by the tiny Mistletoe backing off in a swift movement and staring at her with hostile, green glowing eyes. Sparks crackle around her.]
Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my head?
[And Mrs Barton gets to be the first person in the game to hear Kagura speak, even if inside her own mind. She has the kind of childish, high-pitched voice you'd expect in something eighteen centimeters tall that looks like a doll, too - though with an undertone of hostility that seems to clash entirely with it. Kagura's mind is her sanctum, and someone breaching it really scares her and makes her really angry.]

But, seriously, lighten up. I'm just asking around about my daughter, Eva? You probably know her. I talk to her a lot, so I figure I should talk to some of her friends, too.

Yes, I'm familiar with Barton. Wouldn't call myself her friend. She has a severe case of post-trauma that has historically flared at inconvenient times. Seems to be getting a hold on it progressively. If nothing causes a relapse she could be fairly stable, relatively speaking, in a few years, absent triggers.
Her constant association with Leos Klein could be a problem for that, given he's massively unstable himself, as well as her extranormal sensibilities, but up to now the progression appears positive, at least on the surface.

Which leads me to my own question. What in the fuck did Project Pedantic Blue involve to make you able to remain conscious after death?Most souls can't think coherently without a brain. They're not more people than a liver would be.
