Those who stop by the Sakihama Base's main hanger bay may notice a new addition to the mecha menagerie, techs repairing minor damage to it's back and right arm.

You may recognize the mecha in question– from the news, by reputation, or from your model kits: the Kaiju-slaying Jaeger, Gispy Danger!

At the base of the Mark III Jaeger, while welding sparks rain down over their heads, two brothers in matching bomber jackets clink their bottles of beer together.

Yancy Beckett looks up as you approach, and fishes out another bottle from the cooler. "Hey there! We were just celebrating our fifth battle; care to join us?"

Later on, you can see Yancy hanging out in one of the lounges, chewing on his lip as he works on a Rubix cube. Care to offer some advice?

Around the same time, you might run across Raleigh in the gym, sweat staining his tank-top as he runs through a set of staff forms, using martial arts techniques from all over the place. Surprise attack him?

"Damn straight!" Yancy says with a grin. "Mark III Jaeger, with the latest synapse systems, an I-19 twin Plasmacaster system, and a state of the art Nuclear Vortex Turbine! The one and only Gipsy Danger!"

He holds up his bottle of bear as a toast. "So, I'm guessing you like giant robots, ma'am?"

It was always a huge celebration for my family whenever a team bagged a kaiju around Japan because it was like eating exotic cuisine.

We've been holding on for a while now... working the the Unity Group in return for financial and material support. Not exactly the most glamorous way of re-inventing yourself but it'll put food on our people's tables and keep them from taking out massive college loans.

[Admittedly Raleigh would never imagine the likelihood that something similar may ever happen to the PPDC. I mean, what are the odds right? Even after the Kaiju are gone, Jaeger pilots would still be lauded as heroes and their experience would probably be used elsewhere.]
