OR maybe this could be a tragic hero story, where you die in mysterious illness after defeating the final enemy, and everyone would spend the epilogue moping about you and remembering you and making epitaphs about you, and your love interest would be regretting that they never advanced your relationship, and the series end with everyone looking forward to the future with your silhouette in the sky.
