I wouldn't have just settled for dying there! There's still people I need to avenge, people Albhard and I were going to avenge together!

[Calvin just grits his teeth and facepalms at his failure internally. No he was not good at this at all. But he couldn't exactly back out either.]

Nobody would have settled for it. And everybody would have some reason to want to get out alive. But think. You're an information specialist aren't you? Is he the sort of person to just give up that easily in any other moment? Correlate. Look at everything you know and think it through.
