Love concert (part 1)

The GDF fleet and SDF Macross still make their way towards the Wulgaru gate. But after a recent fight, the Macross has something unexpected on board...

[Everything is so small! What is that?]
[Don't touch it you fool!]
[I want to see Minmay. You promised there'd be Minmay.]

Zentradi! Some miclonized (read: human sized), some not, the giants stick together - grunting to each other in their alien language, curiously inspecting everyday objects and overall looking rather lost and confused. But one thing's for sure, for once they are not aggressive. In fact this group seems to have gotten to Macross on purpose to do stuff other than fight, and that's why they were fired upon by their own commander.

But why are they here? They seem to be led by a miclonized trio who even brought human-like clothes along. And as soon as anyone armed and/or important looking approaches, one of them speaks up:

"We come in peace! Enough fighting, we just wanted to see the concert!" And it looks like those three know how to speak human, too.

...I have so many questions. But the biggest one is: dow did you even know a concert is going on?

"Minmay always has concerts, and we want to see one. If there's not one around soon we'll wait." One of the miclonized Zentradi explains.

[Deculture! I want to go to the Zwei Wing concert!]
[Shut up, the majority decision was already made!]

While behind him, the giants argue.

How do you know who Minmay is?

"How can I not know?" The Zentradi points at a nearby building, with a billboard showing off Minmay as a winner of the Miss Macross contest (it was such a long time ago, feels like ages). Similar billboards are all over Macross City.

I didn't expect Zentraedi to be into music. Or into the Miss Macross contest. No offense. From our contact, I thought your people don't have such things.

[srwu_npc]

"We don't. It's Deculture!"

[cloningblues]

Just what is deculture, exactly? You use that word a lot.

[srwu_npc]

"Concerts are Deculture. Music is Deculture. Minmay is Deculture!"

The Zentradi moves towards one of the buildings, where a tv can be seen behind a shop's window.

"That is Deculture, too."

[What does that do? Will the screen show us the concert?]

[cloningblues]

So you like Deculture because it's new and strange...

What are those guys over there fighting about, anyway? They're only getting louder.

[srwu_npc]

"No. It's not strange, it's great. And Minmay is cute." The Zentradi scratches his head, looking embarassed but also happy.

"They? They want to see Zwei Wing, but we already made an agreement to see Minmay. You can't change your decision all the time, you won't do anything that way!"

[Speak for yourself!]

I didn't know Zwei Wing does concerts again. I know both of its members, but one of them is no longer alive...

[srwu_npc]

"WHAAAAAT!"

A shocked silence fills the air. You can almost hear the sound like glass shattering.

[cloningblues]

You didn't know...?

[Quick, try to salvage the situation! Say something the warlike giants might appreciate!]

Kanade sacrificed herself to save her friends from a huge swarm of enemies. I was there when it happened. It was a hero's death.

[Crap, that just makes the situation even more solemn.]

...I... could try to ask Tsubasa to meet you?

[srwu_npc]

[Deculture! I didn't know!]
[Noooo!] One of the giants screams externally.

"Yes, do that immediately." Fortuately the miclon trio decides to be reasonable.

[cloningblues]

I will see what I can do. Before this gets out of control...

[And then Asagi remembers last time he was Tsubasa, she was in the hospital.]

... Well... Huh..

[Peola was still nursing a hangover but turned up to help keep an eye on the Zentraedi. She honestly wondered if she was ever that bad. The answer is yes. She was that bad once.]

[srwu_npc]

"Do you know which way to the concert?" They are quite inquisitive, too.

[not_a_prize]

I don't think there's one happening just yet. It actually takes time to arrange them...

But I think that they may arrange a special one to happen soon since you went through a lot of trouble just to see one.

[srwu_npc]

"Really?!"

With a few words exchanged between the giants, all of them suddenly become very loud and excited.

"Is that the truth? A concert just for us?"

[not_a_prize]

I'm sure. I know if you risked everything for the Concert there's no way they wouldn't hold one for you.

[Way to speak for those people without even knowing Peola. Then again she's probably really thinking the best of people here. Surely if a number of the Zentraedi were willing to defect just for this then obviously a concert's going to be held!]

[srwu_npc]

"That... makes sense. Of course!"

[Is that how Miclons do things? I should have come here long ago!]

The excited Zentradi now circle around you Peola. You have giants surrounding you from all sides, looking expectant. Their steps cause miniature earthquakes, making gathering thoughts difficult.

"So when will be the concert, then?"

[not_a_prize]

Not now... but soon. They need to organize everything so Minmay can give you all a great show! Performances and Concerts take a lot of time to organize.

[But the question is, When will then be now?]

The Zentradi murmur among each other as the news spread.

[What? So we have to wait?]
[That's normal. Can't be helped.]
[This is not how it was supposed to go!]

"Alright. So..." The communicative trio looks at each other.
"What do we do now?"
