Regardless, time for rest will come later, because now she has an announcement to make. One of her scarab-like helpers gives her a cup of something to drink.]

I never expected the giants to reach Earth. But at this point, it is a safe bet that what are they after is your ship, the Macross. The ship that is currently around the orbit of Uranus.

Some of you might have heard about it, and it is true; my people encountered these giants before. As well as Decepticons, and Wulgaru, and Aerogaters. We barely know much more about them than you do; our contact consisted mostly of exchanging projectiles, not words. Regardless, if you have any questions, I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

No... not really. I've been pretty preoccupied. I only left the Sakihama base recently. I've been... looking after someone.

I would not say a lot. The number of Earthlings on all bases still dwarfs us considerably. But there are some, yes.

It's Earthling, by the way. Not human. From my point of view, it is us Gebians who are humans.

I don't think Earthling is right either, because the people who live in the colonies called themselves Spacenoids, didn't they?

Uhm... this is kind of complicated isn't it. But I guess I should ask where you're from.

I heard about Spacenoids, yes. However, they are the same species, with their roots in the same planet.

I come from the planet of Geb, obviously, since I am a Gebian. It's a similar naming scheme, though not exactly the same; "Earthian" and "Gebling" just sound awkward.

The existence of my planet is a secret for now. Only members of Unity Group and several chosen ESUN dignitaries know about it.

I will do my best to help Earth in any way I can. The same cannot be said about all of my species, however.

The people and government of Geb are divided. Some of us are members of the Pro-Earthling Party, seeking cooperation between our races. Others are in the Anti-Earthling Party, and seek to conquer your planet and enslave its inhabitants. Most are undecided, but that will not last forever.
