I never expected the giants to reach Earth. But at this point, it is a safe bet that what are they after is your ship, the Macross. The ship that is currently around the orbit of Uranus.

Some of you might have heard about it, and it is true; my people encountered these giants before. As well as Decepticons, and Wulgaru, and Aerogaters. We barely know much more about them than you do; our contact consisted mostly of exchanging projectiles, not words. Hmph. Foolish. I see that no matter where you go, you will find politicians ready to put their own interest and agenda above the good of their people.

There is only one other species I know which could ever find out about Earth and invade it. Unfortunately, I am talking about my own.

Politicians will always try to push their own agendas and self interests. The ones who really want to do good just get worn down and sucked into the machine that is government. Even in ancient Egypt where you originally found humanity the pharaohs would use slaves to build pyramids and then have more servants killed and buried with them to serve in the afterlife. [Yuuya notices a few regular gebians in the background sorting files and reports] I just have to hope that you never got that idea from us.

As for the invasion by the giants if what we observed is true and the Macross was their target then we were going to have to fight them eventually anyways. It speaks volumes that your people observed the threat and acted preemptively to counter it. If we've spent the last 10,000 years killing each other over land on our planet then we can hardly fault a species who sends one of their own to try to stop themselves from doing the same thing.

Your image of my species is too idealistic. Geb has its own share of self-serving, short-sighted bastards who don't live up to the responsible positions they supposedly possess. You shall see once the AEP appear.

One of the Japanese pilots got on my case about the test piloting. I corrected him and he sucker punched me. He's in a cell and I'm on as many painkillers as they'll give me.

It was Ken from the Solaris group I believe. He didn't even give me his name, I had to find out afterwards when I was getting chewed out over the event.

And it is no surprise that both of you were chewed out for this. The last thing this place needs is brawls erupting among our soldiers.

You can talk at him but talking to him implies that he's going to listen to what you say.

As for the brawl yes I understand that it's less than ideal and I typically avoid it but I'm not about to back down once someone's thrown the first punch. He turned it into a fight and from what I've been told by the maintenance crew the only reason I won is because he did something weird and passed out. When he woke up he was right as rain and I look like I went a round with Mike Tyson. You'll have to forgive if I'm not particularly inclined to getting chewed out when I get up and moving again.

Why do you think you only received a talk while he is in a cell right now?

I need to talk to him precisely so this incident will not repeat itself. If you really feel the need to punch someone, challenge them to a formal duel first.

Well you don't have to worry about that, I don't want to fight him again after what he did unarmed to me in my armored flight suit. It was lighting fighting a brick wall that somehow fought back. If something starts with him again I'm grabbing a wrench or the heaviest hardest thing on hand.

No. If that happens, call security. The last thing you need in that situation is escalating the conflict by involving weapons. Do you want someone to get killed that badly?

I guess they don't do dry humor much where you come from or my delivery just sucked. [Yuuya takes a breath before he continues.]

I didn't win that fight, Ken lost it when he tried to do... something, that was beyond his means but probably would have put me out for a while if not crippled/killed me. I have bruises and swelling that would have been broken bones and hemorrhaging if I hadn't been in my suit. He's terrifyingly good in hand to hand and if what I've read in the accessible personnel database is true he's not the best one here.

I won't start the fight, but if he does then I'll do what it takes to get out of it alive.
