Location: right in the middle of Gobi Desert. Archeologists have set up camp by the digsite, the digsite with a partially uncovered, steampunk-y looking train. There are no tracks anywhere in sight, and the train was already declared older than human civilization. The ultimate out-of-place artifact - and it gathered attention of more than just the scientific communities of the world.

Unity Group is here to protect the dig site, but it's not easy when the whole place is full of tourists! And people who wish to profit from the tourists, as well.

The heat doesn't make the excited crowds any less excited. Or loud. What mysteries are buried here, exactly?

[Speaking of tourists, a particular girl is pretty much all over the train, or rather...on top of it. She's even wearing a nice sunhat.]

Oooohhh! I can see everything from here!

Well, it's not like I'm forgetting why I'm here. Gotta get ready to fight on this thing - get used to balancing and all.

But first...SELFIE!

[At which point she pulls out a phone that looks like an advanced N-GAGE and snaps some photos.]

[Nep, you hear a chuckle from near by.]

You know. I don't think people are supposed to be sitting on the train.

[Who else is it but Leos. Except in addition to his uniform, he's also wearing a novelty 'Mystery Train' hat. Basically one of those tall striped hats, only it has a train sewn onto it.]

That being said I wouldn't mind taking a photo on it myself.

Aw, it'll be fine. Besides fighting, it's like these things are made for people to sit on and get a good view.

C'mere, I'll take one for you!

[Said while waving.]

[Leos moved over to the train, he paused a moment as he reached out. Perhaps with how heavy he was now it wasn't the beat of ideas...? He shook his head before just climbing it anyway. It was a miracle nothing broke on the way up as he sat himself opposite of the purple haired goddess.]

Much appreciated Nep.

[Already smiling, the most he could do at the moment was simply raise his hand in a peace sign.]

Right, say 'pudding'!

[She raises her phone, and 'click' goes the shutter.]

That was great, but let's go for one more...

[This time, she walks next to Leos (carefully because of that weight) and holds the phone out as far as she can, with the front camera lens active so that both of them are in-frame.]

Keep that smile up. Here we go...3...2...1...

Pudding!

[Peace sign is raised with the opposite hand, and click!]

*A girl in a wide brimmed hat and leather coat scoot over to you.*

Hello, sir and/or ma'am.

Any of you interested in some honest to goodness mysterious-yet-advanced ancient artifact? They're genuine out-of-place artifact!

Eh? But I'm not... I mean...

You have real artifacts?
totallyhonest: (guilty2)

Oh yes of course. If you know how to use them that is.

For example, look at this.

*She discreetely shows something inside her coat. It's a vaguely something shaped rock.*

I risked my life getting this from the authorities. It's dated from prehistory. Cavemen shouldn't have the technology to make something like this!

I'd be suspicious about the part about the authorities...but, does that mean you know how to use it?

I don't think these come with an instruction manual, so...show me!

Maybe I know, maybe I don't. You can see it, but no touching, sorry. You can experiment with it after you pay.

Or if you're interested in something more modern...

*Grace shows the other side of her coat. There's a broken piece of something.*

An ordinary piece of vase from the ming dinasty era? No. Look closer. There's a picture of an astronaut and a flying saucer there! Proof that the ming dinasty has contact with extra terrestrial visitors!

Really?!

You're kinda sounding like that one George-or-something guy, but lemme see it!

I'm not a scientist, I'm a merchant. If you want to have a closer look you have to pay for it!

You're being awfully tough about this...

How much are we talkin' about?
totallyhonest: (embarrased)

From: [personal profile] totallyhonest

100... Eeh... 500 bucks. Damn cheap if you consider the historical implication here. I'm cutting my own throat here. If you buy both, I'll throw you this bottlecap found in precambrian era stone strate.

[Alex can be found out in the crowds, looking at the train down there.]

...What's next? Proof that Odin and his brothers carved humans from logs? Somebody discovering Prometheus in Armenia?
