During the Zwei Wing concert, shortly after the Anchorage incident...
Out of nowhere, the surroundings of Sakihama Base are suddenly attacked by Aerogators! Their individual units are weak but they attack in huge groups of Megillots, supported by tougher but less numerous Zechariahs.
The swarm makes it unable for you to move out and reinforce the Unity Group forces fighting the Noise at the stadium. Almost like if blocking you was the Aerogators' mission all along... but whatever their objective, you need to defeat them before everything is destroyed.

[The Gesterben's flying through the sky, firing as fast as it can into the swarms of Megillots with its blade railgun. The machine almost looks like it's about to be outflanked several times... only for the Stealth Boomerang to come swinging around from an unexpected angle to slice the enemies down to shreds!]
It was inevitable that one of the external threats would try to capitalize on the actions of another of the ESUN's enemies. What matters now is trying to minimize the damage at the very least here!
And at the very least we can do that... because the Aerogators picked the wrong city to attack!
[The machine's not alone either! The other resident Team Jelba member's on the scene in his Grungust, firing missiles out in swarms to administer some much-needed crowd control!]

[A pair of gold/yellow magic circles open up in the air next to her, and two similarly colored, mecha-sized, disembodied arms emerge from them.]
Focus on the threat...my anger...
[The two giant hands radiate electricity as Seta raises one of her two guns - the silver one - and takes aim at the incoming horde. Almost immediately, the electricity from both floating limbs is channeled into the firearm!]
There!
[When she pulls the trigger, the comparatively small bullet is propelled towards the Megillots. But as soon as it makes contact, a large amount of electricity bursts forth! The arcs jump from one Megillot to the next, like a chain of lightning!
It looks like Izuru and Yuuya's advice helped!]

[Red Five rapidly turns mid-flight, covering an attacking group of Megillots in a barrage of beam shots from its chain weapon. Then the AHSMB lunges forward and swings at the damaged aliens, cutting them apart!]
It's a good thing I was already in Red Five!

[Right now though the russian kid was doing his best to keep a Zechariah from carving Interitus' head off with a laser blade. In fact he was barely able to push away the arm... before one of the massive fang filled mouths on Interitus' shoulder opened up and tore the arm carrying the Aerogator machine's weapon off.]
G...Get away!
[This was followed by a shove and gunking as the plant beast backpedaled a little, looking overwhelmed at everything happening everywhere.]

[And a big energy sword is really great for that sort of thing! The Grungust makes the most of the crossfire, flanking Zechariahs and cutting them to shreds.]

[Virgola unit 3 is seperated from the others. Its output is very irregular and the permanent damage the machine suffered makes it hard to control - definitely for a relative newbie like Setsuko.
So she was left behind, and now there's over half a dozen megillots around her.]
I need to do something, or else...

Setsuko, fall back! I'll cover you!
[Oh wait, it's just the DuskBird. Its eyes shine before violet beams of Void energy sweep across a cluster of Meggillots, blowing them to bits.]

[The momentary shock leaves Selena unprepared when one of the Megillots charges forward, smashing into the Gesterben and taking off one of its arms and part of its torso, the machine desperately swinging up its chainsaw gun to shred up the bug.]

[Volya sounds extremely anxious. True enough the damage was on the close to moderate side and there were telling burns and scars on the creature, but otherwise it looked more than capable... especially since that shoulder was still worrying at the arm it tore off like a dog at a bone.]

A warrior has to know pain. If you are afraid the damage is too severe, retreat. Otherwise, join up with others and fight. There is safety in numbers.

Alright, I understand!
[Virgola retreats down the empty streets - when suddenly its path is blocked by a soldier-type Aerogator. It already raises its weapon to shoot.]
Eeey!
[Setsuko slams the carver down on the gun, damaging it severely. But Virgola loses balance and starts to fall!]

[Denzel aims - and fires! The bullet shreds a megillot's head. Another round embeds itself in its torso, causing it to explode.]
Ohara will be fine, don't get distracted!

[And an instant after that, she's forced to use the golden limbs to defend herself as a Zechariah approaches rapidly - accompanied by more Megillots that are firing those hoop-shaped lasers!]

Looks like you really pissed them off this time Seta. How about you show them a few more tricks while we press this wave back. I don't know what's going on over at the stadium but whatever it is doesn't look good.

[Izuru is forced on the defensive, extending his shields to protect against circle lasers.]

[Setsuko's unit breaks off. It doesn't have coordination required for shooting and moving at the same time, she can only hope to get out as soon as possible.]

[One Zechariah shoulder-charges the DuskBird, knocking it to the ground. Several more swarm at where the black machine was felled, only to all be blown away as the barrier-clad Jet mode bursts up into the air.]
ESPECIALLY not to them! And especially not until I see Sara again!
[More eye beams tear through their ranks, but Mizuki's gradually falling back along the same route Setsuko is.]

[Thanks to both Tarisa and Izuru giving her some space, Seta can now counterattack.
She forms the spear/axe weapon that she used against the Aerogaters in the previous mission and throws it in their general direction - but it hits the ground instead.]

[This is fine though, because a large amount of electricity suddenly surges into the surface, all heading towards the Megillots and the Zechariah too, if it's on the ground!]

[Red Five tenses its arms seemingly - but that's to retrieve the forearm blades. Equipped with the pair, Izuru leaps forward and starts hacking the shocked foes away!]

Impressive work Seta, I think we've just about got this area cleared to breakthrough or to help somewhere else.
[Cue a second wave of Aerogator forces moving to close the breach which draws a response from Tarisa as she resupplies from a nearby container.]
Of course you had to go and jinx it didn't you Top Gun? If you're supposed to be the next big thing for combat why don't you cover down on the next wave while we resupply.
