Who was that man? Dr. Shirakawa seems to have had contact with him in the past, but he's not here now...Maybe there'd be notes at his hideout?

How can a reference to something you've never heard about seem accurate to you?

I wonder who he was and what he wanted. He seemed focused on Setsuko and Dr. Shirakawa, for some reason.

He sounded as if he were... specifically cultivating Setsuko's power. Even when she co- can barely control it as it is.

Yes, I noticed...But why? And why would doing so include attacking her and killing her superior? Maybe it isn't just a matter of control that it only kicks in when she's scared.

...That's true... Despite every ample opportunity he had, Asakim didn't finish us off. Now, he might've intended to savour it... but that wasn't the case with Denzel. After nearly being blown up with the base, after he reappeared, Asakim promptly cut him down...

[This has Ken thinking, though he seems... troubled, by the implications, at least the ones he's imagining.]

I don't want to think about it if there are people out there trying to hurt us all to make Setsuko scared...Though, it still seems like she'd need better control for them to make use of her powers.

Depends on if they want her, or if they want whatever power she has. Depending on what it is... those two factors don't have to go together.

Really wish we had some idea of where she was, because if there's anyone else...

So you think that maybe he was trying to steal her power from her somehow?

I wish I knew more about what was going on. And whether her, Toby and those soldiers are safe.
