2. [After a few days pass, Kanade finally regains consciousness. She still looks like she's in pretty bad shape. Her skin is pale and her attempts to move around only resulted in very intense pain. At the very least her Linker withdrawal symptoms haven't kicked in. Those that visit her are still greeted warmly, despite her condition.]

[She attempts to give a wave but quickly gives up when she realizes she can barely lift a finger.]

Well, for starters I should probably tell you that I'm not a real Symphogear user and that I'm completely reliant on a drug to be able to fight.

I was trying to keep it a secret but...well I think it's better to try to be honest now that all of this has happened.

I didn't know that...Does it have any harmful side effects?

A lot...

It's meant to help me use Gungnir but...the moment a dosage wears off my body takes a lot of backlash from the Symphogear.

If you're not properly synced with a Symphogear using it wears on you heavily.

And you still take it despite that...Why?

Because it's the only way I can fight and protect the things I care about.

At the moment, I only know of one. And she would be a wreck without me around.

I know you're worried but this is something I chose for myself. Even if it's painful it's also my responsibility to help develop both the Symphogear project and the drug.
