Well hopefully it will stay that way. So having a hard time picking out your targets. What's been happening when you try?

It does not go the way I want it to.

To be specific: it comes back towards me.

Perhaps using a medium to conduct it then? Running a charge through a wire or something like that could help, and it also keeps any other ground from potentially interdicting the shot.

I have tried some methods that would affect regular electricity, but this is...different.

Hmm... have you tried using something else or thinking in another way. I know in a lot of basic training they have to teach a soldier to consider the person across from them a real honest threat and enemy before they strike to hurt or kill. Most people just can't bring themselves to seriously fight unless they do that preferring instead to run away.

Perhaps imagine one of the targets is the dragon we fought and see if that helps?

I think it'll work better than you think Seta. If anyone would have issues hurting a straw dummy out of kindness it would be you. That's a good thing in pretty much every other circumstance especially given just what you could really do but here it may be what's holding you back. Worst case we just get another light show, fluffier hair and we'll need to find a way to ground you fully so we don't burn out anything inside the base when we head back in.
