[Not so long after the anti-PRAYER action, Asagi's in the Sakihama Base kitchen, picking ingredients and consulting a printed paper he obviously got from a web page (it even has the website's layout and everything). Fresh cabbage. A banana. Cayenne pepper. Milk.

And now he dumps all this stuff into a blender and turns it on! This results in an unappetizing-looking liquid, which is quickly poured into a glass. Asagi engages in a staring contest with it for a moment, and then suddenly chugs it down.]

...It tastes worse than I thought.

What are we even doing here? At a base full of weirdoes, nutjobs and emotionally unstable people given lethal weapons.

I just wish I knew why we've been picking up some people who actually are.

Yeah. It's just...Isn't Unity Group supposed to be a UN organization? Is it really appropriate to fill it with crazy people who are a hazard to themselves and others?

How many crazies are there? Aren't they just a small fraction of all UG pilots?

Let's see...The pilots of the robot that combined, Leos seems pretty unstable, Lt. Schmertz seems to have an unhealthily negative attitude, there are several child soldiers who don't appear to have a background like us...

That's... great, now I'll have to count how many pilots UG has in total.

I don't think all of them are crazy though. I'd rather have more Flits than that Yuuya guy.

There are lots of people who aren't crazy as well. Really, I've gotten to know more people here than we ever did at the academy.

And nobody's making fun of us for failing anymore.

Yeah, instead they keep gushing over how good we do. It's weird...

It's for morale. Last thing they need is one of us breaking down in the middle of a fight.

But yeah. We are doing better than I'd have thought a month ago. I guess having the AHSMBs helps a lot.

Yeah. Maybe the instructors saw something nobody else did when they picked us for the job.

Maybe. But at the same time... We were the best pilots even though we had the lowest grades? It's like I've been living in a movie all along.

Yeah. Everything's been weird since we got the AHSMBs.

Most of what I've known of the world before was the academy. Maybe the world is just a weird place.

It does seem like it...I just wonder why they didn't teach us about it before we left. It seems like an important topic.

I think there are many important topics the academy didn't bother to teach us.

Yeah. Honestly, did they ever even expect us to do more than just fight?
